Got an offer to have my stories edited and have just submitted the first chapter to a story to be updated. The rest to follow soon.

I just managed to fit EDITED into the title of the first chapter but won't for later ones. What do I do for them (when I get them) ?

'I'm Sorry Ch 01: The Text' is the one I just submitted the update for. I submitted it as 'I'm Sorry Ch 01: The TextEDITED'

To help eliminate the potential for human error, utilize the moderator notes section. There, reveal the full, original title in addition to any other information necessary for the edit. I always copy the URL of the submission I'm editing into the moderator notes section to make sure there's absolutely no question about which one I'm editing.

NOTE: Edits take around 24 hours to take effect on the public side of the site. Once the "edited" submission vanishes, wait at least that long before panicking. Not all of your changes may appear at the same time, either. Page 1 may change, and page 2 may still be the same as the original for a brief while.

And don't do what I did in that situation, and add 'edited' to the 'brief description' field, because it will stay there. And you'll look like a twat.
