Edit Profile

When I go to "User CP" to try and edit my profile, I keep getting link to edit email and password. All other tabs seem to take you to correct choice expect "edit profile"

You are correct.

Profiles ate down and have been for many months.

Then why when I go to the activity of my favorite authors screen a lot of the activity is they updated their profiles?

Because we all have two Lit profiles. The one here in the forum which is broken and the writers profile which is not.

The profile they are editing is the writers profile.

What you can do as a work around to the broken Forum profiles is put a link in your signature to your writers profile, as I have done (Or to a profile in another thread or even another site)

Where is the writers profile?

If you go back to the main literotica page (not the forum) www.literotica.com and in the section under 'news' click the blue: 'your member profile' link it will take you to a login screen that will let you log into your writers profile.

This forum section is older code and when they updated the publishing side of lit they couldn't update this (yet?) so that's apparently why the profiles here are broken.

I don't really understand all the wizardry behind it I just know that every noob (I was one such)that signed up after a certain date has no profile. You will still be able to have avatars and profile pics and things though after you've posted 100 hundred times in the forums and after a thousand posts your inbox capacity increases for PMs.
