Edible lubricant

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent edible lubricant? We are looking for one that isn't syrupy sweet-a neutral taste would be fine, as long as it is edible. Or, if you have found a decent recipe for a homemade edible lubricant, we would appreciate that as well. Thanks!

If it doesn't need to be latex-friendly, try coconut oil. It's very inexpensive (even the unrefined and organic varieties are much cheaper than any sexual lube) and healthy for both vaginas and your bodies.

Just so you know, most of the coconut oil you find in the store is highly refined, so there's no coconut taste or smell in it. If you want the scent and flavor, you need to get virgin or unrefined stuff, which is often available in the natural foods section and health food stores.

I've been getting organic coconut oil for our family, and a 16oz jar is between $8 and $11, depending on whether it's virgin or not. I think a great big tub is about $10 in the oil section of Walmart Supercenter, though we've stopped using that because pesticides get concentrated in fats and it's super-duper refined. It's probably fine for lube, but I'm not sure how wise it is to eat in larger quantities. The nice thing is that coconut oil is solid at room temperature, so we just scoop a small amount into a little container with a clean spoon to use for lube, moisturization (it's a great skin, lip and hair product), etc.

Try the Nutiva brand coconut oil. It's one of the best brands out there.

BTW, I wouldn't trust anything from Wallyworld, 99% of their crap comes from China, which let's face it, isn't known for being clean and healthy when it comes to anything, let alone food products.

I've also used grape seed oil which is edible and pretty neutral tasting.
