I have that tape (from his HBO Comedy special "Dress to Kill"). Aside from Chris Rock's first HBO comedy special, it's the funniest hour I've ever seen in my life.

"Cake or Death?!" :D

He's amazing!!! I just watched a special hosted by him about the creation and history of Monty Python. He was out of "drag" and was the best. He Rocks!!!!!

Yeah, Dress to Kill is the video of his that I saw...

I need to order that once I figure out if I am getting a dvd player or not. My ex retained mine.

I absolutely adore Eddie Izzard...I think John Cleese said of him that he's the funniest man in Britain - and I quite agree.

He's also damn sexy...well, I think so...and those legs! Oh - don't get me started!

I have all of his tapes - great way to pass an afternoon. Just me, under a blanket on the couch - and Mr Izzard. :p

i love him too ... i think he was born or lives nearby to where i live as well

i had a chance to see him live but i didnt a few years ago ... i guess i was to young anyway

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooo much Laurel!

Listening to those now lol

A good friend took me to see Eddie Izzard a couple of years ago, and I'm been a fan ever since!

The man is brilliant! I was also pleased to see him in the movie "Shadow of the Vampire", and he's recently completed a West End stage stint in "Joe Egg" in London.:rose:

"Dynamic Duo" ... Eddie Izzard and John Cleese :rose:

I saw the HBO special "Dressed To Kill" too and laughed myself sick. The part about landing on the moon and pretending there was a horrible monster chasing after Armstrong? That was hilarious.

Jazzy, I loved Chris Rock too. Last time I went to Manhattan, he was playing at the Apollo and I wanted to go see him, but didn't get the chance.
