Oh...wait...maybe they mean the drug rather than sex?

There is no evidence that ecstasy causes brain damage, according to one of the largest studies into the effects of the drug. Too many previous studies made over-arching conclusions from insufficient data, say the scientists responsible for the research, and the drug's dangers have been greatly exaggerated.

not sure if it does "damage" per say, but it does release all the endorphines your body has built up all at one time, hence the "high" you get from it. The biggest dangers of ecstasy is elevated body temperature, dehydration and "suicide tuesday." It has been said a number of times that folks who do ecstasy over the weekends crash and have extreme lows on monday and by tuesday are suicidal. It takes days or sometimes even weeks for your body to bring back up the endorphin levels and get your emotions back in line.

As with all street drugs, it isnt the ecstasy that you need to worry about, it's all the crap that's out there that gets sold as the real thing.
