When I was over at my folks yesterday I saw they had this book there, Economics for Everyone: A Short Guide to the Economics of Capitalism.
I read the first couple of chapters and I quite enjoyed it. It was a straightforward exposition on the history of capitalism and how it works. I thought it quite balanced although I'm sure many people will think otherwise.
There's a website related to it; Economics for Everyone. There's a useful set of lessons there. And under the resources link there is a glossary of economic terms.
I'm sure it will be useful for us in the future.
