It was a relatively empty part of space, there was noting much in it except for the lone snubfighter. Inside the fighter Lieutenant Bal Isalias checked his instruments and yawned.
"What am I doing here. There is nothing going on."
A voice then came over his comm unit, "You are here to make sure that this sector of space is empty and not full of Calthec."
"There is nothing here Lead," Bal said, looking around.
Just as Bal was expecting an answer he heard a strange screaming sound off to his right and looked, surprised to see a strange fighter veering away from his position.
"Lead, I just saw something... I need to go and check it out."
"Negative Six, you are to wait for Twelve to back you up before you fly headfirst into a fight."
Bal didn't answer, he increased the power to his engines and sped in the direction of the fighter.

Privateer ship "Enrager" detected the ship going after him. Captain Rex 'Godspeed' Branon decided he couldn't trust whoever it was. He had passed the other ship, a snubfighter, and decided to avoid it. You didn't know when the military boys would decide it was time to shut down a private enterprise like him, only because it was not legal.

He pushed the afterburners and went into a deep part of the asteroid field, giving thanks to God for his agile ship. He did a dead stop behind one of the asteroids. Maybe that would allow him to loose the snubfighter.

He also gave thanks to God that he had choosen a fighter ship, which had less cargo capability than a standard privateer ship, but allowed him to go faster and survive greater ods.

Rear Admiral Dima "The Destroyer" Zelin flew his Man'o'War through the asteroid belt. The "Apocalypse" had been under his service for two years ans through them he had many good and bad times. His ship was known as the Apocalypse because any not of his nation would never see the light of a star again. It was the newest model in the navy. It was one of the fastest ships available for space travel. It was also extremely heavily armed. It had incredible cargo space, and more flying squadrons than a carrier. Yes, it was the Z-254SHREEKER-class Man'o'War. It was here to pick up some snubfigter that was on patrols. It spotted him. Dima put the comlink to his mouth. "Come in, this is the Apocalypse, we are here to pick you up, I repeat, we are here to pick you up. Land in docking bay 3-R, over", he said.

Rex Branon double checked the radar. There was another ship coming in. It was moving very fast, almost as fast as him and the snubfighter, and the radar signal was showing it was something big.

He was behind the asteroid and he knew he should keep the emissions low, but he needed to know. He ran a diagnosis scan on the new arrival. His screen showed it was a Man-o-War. What was it doing here, in the asteroid belt? The captain of that ship had to be crazy, maybe it should have been called the "Titanic" Man-O-War. That ship was too big to maneuver in the center of the asteroid belt, where even the snubfighter or him would have trouble maneuvering.

He heard the radio call to the snubfighter. Well, at least they weren't the enemy. But maybe they wouldn't consider a free enterpriser a friend either...

Leutenant Colonel Rick Walker made his way though the Man-o-war known as the apocolypse. He carried with him a marinda standared issue Pulse rifle. THe weapon was one not recognised by anyone on the ship, or anywhere else for that matter. Most handheld weapons were small, light, and meant for close, narrow combat, and quick maneuverability. Sure rick had one of them. THe marinda class rifle however was much deadlier, and people understood that by looking at it.

Rick continued to make his way through the ship. He knew where he was going, as he spent months mentally mapping the ship. No, he was not a true officer, even though records of him exist and state his status. He was not really a member of this army. Nore was he working for any known orginizations in this universe. Rick, not being tied down with the burdon of spywork and sabotauge, was infact the perfect covert agent. There were no false records under his name. There was no unauthorized transmissions made by him. There were no logs recording anything against him. No, he stored these things out of the reach of even the gods. The only thing that betrayed his false loyalty were his thoughts, and these people had not the technology to read thoughts yet.
Rick made his way to the bridge. Upon entering he saluted. "Captain Zelin sir, what do you wish me to do when the snubfighter is docked?"

"Ah, lietunenant colonel, glad to see you. Nice gun. Go get the pilot over here. He's lucky if I don't court-marshall him for disobeying a direct order", said Dima, getting angry.

"Yes sir! thank you sir!" Rick ran over to a comstation and informed the guards at the docking bay what is to be done.

"It'll only be a warning this time, but I'll make sure he never does it again", Dima thought to himself.

Rick stepped up to his place next to the captains chair. He was pleased with himself, not only successfully infiltrating their army, but working his way up to such a high rank in the process. And noone's the wiser.

None of this registered on his face, though if it did, anyone looking would assume it's cynical pleasure in being able to watch the captain reprimand the pilot of the snubfighter.

OOC: No biggy, Cryo, but I said Rear Admiral.

IC: "I'll let you off lightly this time, but don't let me see it happen again. You have two choices. One: A court-marshalling and death by the firing squad or 200 whippings in the center of the ship", roared Dima.

OOC: Aren't I just the meanestL:)
Oh and also I wouldn't try to assasinate this guy, it'll be the last thing you TRY to do.

OOC; Uh... when did you say rear admiral? the only thing you told me was to get the pilot over there to pay for disobaying orders. Being a strict, mean captain is one thing, but blatenly false accusations and wrongfull punishments lead to mutiny even you can't control.

Wait, you were talking to the pilot, right? Never mind. Punish away!

IC; Rick smiled inwardly as the pilot cringed under the reprimand of captain Dima.

OOC: Rear Admiral Dima "The Destroyer" Zelin. This should speak for itself.

IC: Dima noticed the look on Rick's face. He smiled inwardly. That's what he liked in his officers. It made them tough.

OOC; Ah. Point taken again. In the words of homer simpson; simpson 12! terrorists - 8

OOC; Oh, well just send the pilot to a penal colony allready and Give me first dibs on his tourcher recording

OOC: Okay, got it.

IC: "Dismissed, private", he shouted as the private ran off. "Okay, Rick, you get to go through this sucker's records, listen to conversations and do anything that has to do with hi that you like. Although, I do want a report after you'r done", he said.

"Will do sir!" He saluted and ran off to make his report

Dima settled in."It's going to be a long day", he thought to himself.

Wasn't much to report. Scouted further then usual, thought she saw something and went to investigate. but then....

Dima noticed the Corinthian frigate try to fly by his fabled ship. "Put the commander on monitor!", he shouted.

"Sir, my report! Nothing unusual to report, untill the end when a fighter of unknown make was spotted. it was too fast for her, but last reported to be in this very asteroid field!"

Excellent, I see it now. It's still hiding", Dima said, looking at Rick. Then the Corinthian appeared on the screen. "Surrender your ship or be obliterated where you sit. I have cast a gravity well so you have no chance of escape", he told the Corinthian.

"I'de like to see his face when we throw him into the interogation room! I almost hope he doesn't speek the universal language!" Rick smiled crulely
