Bob Peale hasn't checked in yet either. He sent me a message saying he'd be online most of the day early this morning, he hasn't signed on once. I know he lives somewhere on the East coast, I don't know where.
Thank you Bratcat. I got that message and haven't seen him so I got worried. I have other friends that I talk to online from the East coast and although I've never met them, I still care about what happens to them.
im here but im worried about a coulple of friends who live near there.my sisters husband has not checked in.he is in the airforce.maybe he has been called in.
Just very sad and depressed and angry. I cant seem to stop crying. I do have 1 friend in the city I wasnt able to reach yet...pray him and his family ok. Waiting, hoping to hear all is well. Another close friend of mine who lives in florida now lost about 15 friends who worked at the trade center.
I feel so sick inside. My heart just aches for all the victims, their families, their loved ones. I just cant believe this has happened.
I live near Boston. My family in NYC is safe...but my neighbor's parents both work in the towers - no word from either one of them. And I just got back from a memorial service; there are so many people at this school from NYC... so many stories of missing/dead loved ones. A family friend of ours was supposed to be on the flight to LA that was hijacked from Logan, but he missed his flight this morning. Thank God for that. (This is all on top of the suicide that happened here yesterday) What a horrible, horrible couple of days.
East Coast here... CT... been posting all day so not mia - but for the record... here, family home - safe... some friends who work down in that area, a couple in trade center - don't know anything yet about them...
I don't know where else to post this and I have to tell someone. I've heard from both of my close friends that were within blocks of the WTC building. One was about 2 blocks away the other was about 12. Both are safe and sound and I'm glad. Good Fucking God what a day.
My 7 year old daughter came home from school in a frenzy wanting to know if I had seen the TV and if our friends were dead in the building. I had no clue that the schools were going to show the little kids that all day long. I wish I had known I would have gone and sat with them.
Time for work see ya'll in the morning. Be Safe~Ally
The teachers in our elementarly and middle schools were told not to say anything - and they didn't - it was felt that it would be better if the parents talked to them - some of those kids have parents and family who work in NYC - no one wanted to worry them unnecessarily.
