I have 40 choc eggs filled with mascarpone and khalua that I made yesterday, and 8 friends coming for lunch.
We will consume much food and follow up with liquor-filled eggs :)
Should be fun!

A small ham, some scalloped potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs...and chocolate cake!

And before all that...trying to convince my 10 year old that 55 is NOT warm enough to wear shorts..sigh

No family get together this year. No one is in the mood to celebrate.

Working, got about 3,000 Mikawa Japanese black pines to pot up into the cups they will be in until next spring when they go in the ground.

After that....Sakura Cherry, Japanese white pine, Japanese red pine, giant sequoia, coastal redwood, sugar pine, hinoki cypress and shimpaku juniper.

Then the maples........good problems to have this spring.

I am doing taxes :) I already watched people in their Easter bonnets this morning.
I am avoiding dinners.
Also maybe cleaning.

Went to the lake, checked up on the cottage, sat in the sun on the deck for an hour, took the long way home, cooking a cauliflower chick pea chicken curry for dinndinn, listening to Radio2.

Scalloped potatoes and ham! My favorite. Mine will be ready in about an hour. No chocolate cake, though. We are managing with petit fours.

Easter is over. There was cheap boxed wine, fancy pasta, and more oral sex than expected.

[standard gender flip joke here]

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I was neither giver nor reciever of said oral sex. More of a bemused witness. Long story. And too much cheap boxed wine to type it out tonight.
