Damn moons. You think everything's just hunky dory and suddenly WHAM! You have another moon to deal with. Bastards.

I gave up keeping track of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. Seemed like every time I checked there were more.

So how does a possible moon sneak into orbit around the Earth and no one knows about it? Did it tip-toe in?

And how disconcerting is it to find out that we have a second one?

*shudders*

Well I think that's when the point of knowing comes in. I think I read somewhere that we only know maybe 25% of the objects that are out in space are. Maybe even less. Hence why the space project people are always wanting more money to explore space more and make sure there isn't anything heading to earth to kill us all. Guess that was one of the 75% of the things we didn't even know about.

And chances are, if earth is ever hit by anything, that we won't know about it until it was too late or it already hit us.

don't pray to the third one yet. it'd be kinda embarrassing to find out you'd been paying homage to a spent russian booster rocket.

chances are its just a bit of junk....

I don't pray to the moon itself...just the Lady it represents. (like you don't worship the cross you worship what it represents)

i know but it wouldn't have been funny if i had stated it that way.....ok, so it wasn't that funny to start with but it's the best i could do on a slow wednsday afternoon.:)

This is surprising information. But after some research, I found a picture of the second moon.
