Prelude:
The year is 2202, humanity has broken into 3 groups. The group on Earth is the United Commonwealth of Earth (UCE), the group on the moon is the Terra Federation, and the rd group, which lives in the Asteroid Belt, is the New Wind Highlanders.
In 2058, anew virus was developed by an un-known source, which killed 24% of Earth’s population. The lead Scientist left Earth, to live on the moon, until they find a cure for the virus.
The population left on Earth, feeling betrayed, cut off all communications with the moon. An Ahim McIntyre found a cure in 2084. Ahim came, along with 5 others, becam the very first in the Leading Conical of he United Commonwealth of Earth.
In 2158, Scientist from the moon, while conducting test on the Earth, discovered that the virus had already been found. Angered by this the Moon population, called the Terra Federation, declared way on the United Commonwealth of Earth.
In 2163, a small Space Shuttle, called the “Highlander” left Earth and moved out towards the Asteroid Belt. In 2170, that Shuttle, belonging the New Wind Highlanders, started shipping High-Tech weapons to both the Commonwealth, and the Federation.
The Terra Federation (TF) and the United Commonwealth of Earth (UCE), are in a truce in the year 2202.
Both sides that have been at war with each other for over 100 years are sick and tired of fighting and are negotiating peace.
There has been a 3rd party involved, not on either side. But draw profit from the war, by selling weapons to each side... This group is the New Wind Highlanders (NWH), which live on a large rock in the Asteroid Belt, mining asteroids.
The NWH plan to destroy hope for peace, and continue the war between the TF and the UCE; in order to maintain business.
Repusenatives of both the TF and the UCE have been murdered, by the NWH, and framing the TF and he UCE for killing the others repusenative, starting a war... This time driven by hatred and revenge...
