Okay... fuck the man-made black hole that might destroy all life on earth. And fuck, global warming, nuclear holocaust, a plague, or even cloning.

I want E. Coli to be our destruction. --- E. Coli The Destroyer

--This is fucking cool though... where do I buy one of these living computers? No electricity needed just my dog's poo!

Man, the next fifty years are going to be really interesting. I'll just have to find a way to hang around and see what comes next.

Actually, I think Clostridium difficile will kill us all, but that's just me and really has nothing to do with the article.

1. Now I want pancakes.

2. This will spawn a subsidiary of PETA called PETMO which will rant about the enslavement of microorganisms.

E. Coli. Pfffft, I'm british, I laugh in the face of E. Coli!

Okay... I fucking needed that... although now the dog thinks I'm crazy.

I think he's on the phone with PETA to see about getting liberated.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say it will end in ice.
Few have thought of E. Coli
As mankind's doomsday device.
Although a computer without wire
Could be just as nice.

(Apologies to Robert Frost...)

E. Coli has been with us for centuries. It's a comon bowel bacterial in cattle, horses, swine, cats, dogs, as well as, humans. It's an easy bug to kill. Just cook your meat well.

About 90% of the time if a human is infected with E.Coli, they think they have the flu with vomiting, diarrhea and a mild elevated temperature. It's usually most dangerous in children, the elderly and people with depleted immune systems - like HIV.

I'm not all that worried.
