My wife and I just finished watching what we found to be a really good bondage dvd. It was part one of a two part disc.

REVIEW:

Wonderful video. Seriously. Not a sex video. So if you're looking for sex and BDSM, this isn't really the flick. Yes there is some touching and petting but that's about as far as it goes. What this is, is a little hard to describe but is more of an introduction type video. But DO NOT let that idea fool yo into thinking this is just a "how to tie a knot" video, it isn't. In fact there is very little instruction on the how-to's. Madamme Dubois does some between the scenes talk about bondage that is brief but good stuff. She talks about safety, her subs, what she likes about BDSM, etc. The focus really seems to be on explaining and showing why BDSM is so powerful and moving for people, both Dom/me and sub.

By industry standards it is very well made and the people included (male and female) are attractive yet real. Yikes, small boobs and thick thighs on a woman. Whoda thunk they made 'em that way? The subs are delicious for their beauty and their realness.

Madame Dubois is a bit older and not in the traditional sense attractive but if you can watch this video and not be compelled by her than you're stronger than I am. She is a Pro Domme for sure, but she is really calm and relaxed and truly makes you believe that you too can do all of this. You believe her. She comes across as sincere and very committed. Not harsh and cold but a Domme who takes great pride and enjoyment in her sub, and care.

The rope work and devices used are FAR from introductory. Madame Dubois has AMAZING rope skills, high level gear, and a dedicated play area. But that shouldn't discourage anyone as she presents the action with a flair that excites the imagination and makes you realize that with some thought, ingenuity, and practice, you too can capture the essence of her techniques.

And that is what I think I really took away from this video, the essence. The video is trying to show BDSM, albeit from a Pro-Domme point of view, as a wonderful interaction between a dominant and a submissive. It touches one the needs and desires of each and is a refreshing change to the so-called BDSM flicks.

It touches on the mind games aspect. But in fairness, you have people making a production video, a quality one, and with a dozen set people around so at times you can tell the subs or Madame Dubois are trying to "make the scene" but really it isn't distracting. You just have to understand it, recognize you aren't watching a home video, and remember the essence of the video.

I think males and females, dominants and submissives, new or seasoned would enjoy this DVD.

Scenes include: Lots of rope harness work. Breast bondage. Spanking. Flogging. Suspension. A little cock bondage.

Overall we both really enjoyed this movie and it left us not only eager to watch the second included movie, but to re-watch this one. And that's pretty damn good when it comes to BDSM titles.

But, as with all things, this is just my opinion.

Not sure anyone is interested but I started the thread so I'll finish it.

We got the opportunity to watch the second included video, The Pain Game and all I can say is WOW! This video goes to the next level from where Tie Me Up left off. This is some really great stuff and focuses on the Sado-Masochist relationship. Ane let me tell you, Cleo a.k.a. Madame Dubois, has one girl in particular in this video that is an absolute and complete masochist.

She has one scene with an older but tight bodied man that is pretty good. They talk about the S/M relationship and interaction and importance and then get into a pretty good scene. It's obvious he's no novice but it is still a good scene and quite real.

Then she does a scene with this girl named "Creed." Wow. Did I say wow? Cuz I mean wow. Creed is definately a pain slut and to watch her and Cleo together is awesome. Cleo adorns her back with the coolest zippers I have ever seen. For those who may not know the term "zippers" they are clothespins strung together by a common string. But Cleo has attatched feathers to hers. So she runs one string down one side of Creed's back and the other string down the other side of her back to create "wings." Very cool stuff that plays a big role later in the scene. Then she sets about piercing Creed's breasts and nipples. Watching her take the needles in her nipples is very cool.

She eventually lets Creed "fly" by attatching thin surgical bands to her needles and let her bouncing and tug on them. Mind you I said letting her do it. Cleo pulls some but she settles in and lets Creed inflict her own pain by bending her body and yanking on the bands. And they twirl round and round. It is really something to watch and the intensity is real and obvious. And all the while Creed has worn her feathered zippers. When Cleo removes them it is fast and incredible and left me truly admiring Creed's ability to take pain.

The scene is so real and so powerful that at the end when Cleo and Creed and coming down you can see Cleo's eyes well up. Good stuff.

And you get a look into Cleo's life and how she got into BDSM.

Overall a really good S/M movie. Still no sex but then that isn't the point of these flicks. It's about showing BDSM in a positive and wonderful light but still be exciting to those of us interested. And my wife and I both think they succeed in doing just that.

I'm very glad we bought this DVD.

Oh and for the record I have no interest or affiliation with any of the things mentioned. No dog in the fight. Just sharing my opinion of a D/s movie we bought and watched.
