Duplicate threads

Is there anyway to delete duplicate threads? you when the editor does something foolish (that would be me) and hits the approve button more then once they find out that every time they hit the approve button it submitted the thread again. Obviously having the same thread is confusing and ugly and was hoping there is a way to remove the duplicates? Is there, or are they stuck that way?

AFAIK, there is no way to delete threads. *Maybe*, if you contact the site admin and they are feeling really really nice that day... you might get lucky. :/
