dumb question

How do I delete a post that I have made previously? I am sure this has been asked before, but...

I tried to check the delete box and then sent it, but I was directed to a sign on screen.

Delete is disabled.

Beacuse of a long thread that disappeared because the person who started the thread deleted the original post, MAnu turned off the delete function.

The only way you can "delete" a post now, is to edit it down to a blank post.
