Probably a dumb question, but does the eighteen year old rule apply to cartoon characters? Does the bestiality rule apply to cartoon characters? Just wondering, if anyone knows...

In terms of writing erotica? The 18-year old age limit for sexual situations applies whether 'real' or cartoon characters, to my knowledge.

I can't answer that question but can point you in the right direction, either a mod, or one of the admins, Laurel and Manu, would be able to tell you for sure.

JMO advice, there might not be a big audience wanting underage beastiality cartoon characters on this site, if it is allowed, but to each his/her own.

If you're writing erotica for this site, the "no sexual encounters to be shown between anyone under 18" and the "no bestiality" rule applies. No exceptions. It doesn't matter if they're real or cartoon...so if you want to write or draw up a sexual encounter between two, 12-year-old, anime school girls, sorry, no you can't. It doesn't matter if they're cartoons, the rule still applies.

If you want to write a sexual encounter between an 18-year-old anime character and a Pokemon, *yes* you can, because the character is 18, and Pokemons are not real animals. If between an anime character and a dog, then no, you can't, that's bestiality.

Really stupid, dumbass, sarcastic, just-because-it-popped-in-my-head question time ;)

What about a cartoon dog and an underage pokemon?

(go ahead and shoot me for being an ass now ;) )

Depends. Is the dog Goofy or Pluto? Goofy is not a real dog, hence, it might be allowable. Pluto is portrayed as a real dog (collar, takes walks, doesn't talk or wear clothes) so probably not.

The pokemon probably doesn't count either way :p (and I am now taking aim and shooting you).

Confusing...

Scooby Do? So, I suppose if the cartoon character depicts a human, it's a no-no...So if Blondie wanted to have Alexander, gotta be eighteen...But what about Daisy? Could Dagwood have Daisy?

Daisy Mae, yes.

But the entire Peanuts gang is right out, Snoopy included

Oh, well...

I guess that I'll just have to make them eighteen-year-old midgets to keep the imagery intact...Just like Elmo (Elmer) in my Sunday Comics...

They're been flexible in the past, really. I suspect that you could get away with some of the cartoon age issues if the characters act more like adults and observe, at some point, that they've been stuck in these child-bodies for 50-odd years (at least in the case of the Peanuts gang). My personal experience is that they've been willing to look at mental status over physical appearance if it's presented to the audience as the more significant factor and if you don't make the "illicit" elements the main focus of the story.
