Can anyone give me a run down of the abbreviations used on the boards, I know the normal msg ones but some on these boards have me a bit confused

Which abbreviations are you talking about? Things like, "lol"?

Not things like lol, more like BBW.

You'll find that most such abbreviations are fairly easy to figure out from the context where they're used. BBW is one that isn't easy though.
