"Dudley Moore, the multitalented British actor, comedian and musician noted for his performances in the 1960's stage revue "Beyond the Fringe" and the films "10" and "Arthur," died this morning at his home in Plainfield, N.J. He was 66.

Mr. Moore died of pneumonia as a complication of supranuclear palsy, a progressive disease that attacks various neurological functions."

Cheers to a very funny, and talented, guy! Not only was his comedic talents extraordinary, he was a wonderful pianist until this disease made it impossible for him to continue.

My eyes teared up when I read this.

As silly as it seems, I had a crush on Dudley for the longest time.

"It's a very small country. Rhode Island could beat the crap out of it in a war. They recently had the entire country carpeted. This is not a big place..."

i'll tip one for ya mr. moore...thanks for the laughs...

Funniest line from Arthur:

Arthur: I think I will have a bath now

Sir John Gielgud character: Very good sir, I shall alert the media.

Such a wonderful actor...he'll be missed

Okay, now DCL's thread on Uncle Miltie makes sense. They should be numbered death threads so everyone reads this one first. :)

Peter Cook to Dudley Moore, who's auditioning as a one-legged Tarzan: "I like the right leg. It's a wonderful leg. I have nothing against your right leg. The trouble is, neither do you."
