I have two different plot ideas though:

A: the Loving Wives/Group sex version:

Alice is married to Bill. Alice and Chuck were drunken fuck buddies through college- never hooked up sober but often ended a sloppy night together. One night the three of them are out together (wedding? high school reunion?) and get drunk. Chuck instinctively starts making out with Alice. How does Bill react? Another variation has Chuck married to Daisy. If so, do Daisy & Bill have a history?

B: The College Years/ Neighbour Kids. Less backstory here. Just young adults who grew up together. Totally platonic until one night they get drunk Variants here too- at home, booze stolen from parents party? At a college mixer, both shy, they gravitate to the known? At a beach party? At a club? Two kids or more?

of course there could be incest variants too...

Kind of surprising myself but I actually like this idea more than I thought I would.

I like A more than B, mostly because you used the K word. I think I knew what you were meaning but the K word to me isn't something I like to see at any time related to an erotic story.
Just a personal preference.

I like the Alice and Bill, Chuck and Daisy scenario, but I don't think Bill and Daisy should have history together. It makes for more fun.

Agreed, I like the sounds of two couples. Bill and Daisy can be friends, just no erotic history, nothing more than light flirting randomly. The two couples have been around each other at parties a few times, but Alice and Chuck have been able to resist the urge. They felt the draw, but the knew better to act on it, deciding to fuck wildly in their minds, not letting it show as they smiled softly, participating in the group chat about sports.

It wasn't until <special occasion> though. They were hammered enough to want a cigarette in the back yard, and during their chat in the kitchen about times gone by, a smoke was brought up, so they went looking. The people they bummed a smoke from were gone, leaving the old FWB pair alone in the shadows, still reminiscing. They walked aimlessly, stopping just around the corner from the back porch.

"Things" start to happen, distracting them from seeing a dark body sneak around the corner, then pull back. They also didn't catch the cellphone gathering video of them. It was too dark for close detail, but you couldn't mistake what was happening. Their hushed voices were more than enough to describe it, and the yellow-tinted street light filled in the rest.

Option1:
Chuck and Daisy got a text message at the same time. They go out onto the porch and peek around the corner to see what's happening. Watching and hearing the cheating in front of their eyes, the three quickly chat. The first (anon) person turns on the porch light. Crying and yelling ensues. Or maybe not so much crying as anger from C&D.
As punishment after hearing some of the story and seeing how little each of them were wearing, the three go to the garage. C&D put on a fuck show for A&B, not letting them help. Maybe cameraman can help as well. They do things their partner never would (C eats D out, D lets C cum in her mouth, maybe D has C take her in the ass).

Option2:
Cameraman has video clips of the whole thing, recording a good clear view of the ending. As Alice and Bill are leaning on the fence panting, cameraman walks up to them, recording their nakedness and sweaty skin. A&B start to freak out but he stops them. Tells them he knows what happened, and knows their spouses won't be happy to see the evidence. Lots of juicy evidence of images and words. Brings up payment plan to keep his silence. He shares the cheating wife with B, then has each of them set up a three way with him and their spouses.

Option1b-2b:
Would it help if the person filming was a woman instead of a man? The garage could be more exciting!
