Drunk D.C. Cop Gets Off Easy After Shooting 3 Transgender Women

A Washington, D.C. police officer who fired multiple shots into a car with three transgender women and their friends is getting off easy. The officer, 48-year-old Kenneth Furr, was sentenced yesterday “to three years of supervised probation, a $150 fine, and 100 hours of community service,” the Washington Blade reports. The transgender community in D.C. has reacted with outrage.

The case revolves around events that occurred in August 2011. On a Washington, D.C. street, Furr asked one of the transgender woman for sex for money. After the woman refused, Furr followed her to a CVS store and, when he was outside the store, pointed a gun at the transgender woman. After the officer drove away, the group of transgender woman and their male friends followed him, until Furr stopped his car and fired his gun at the car.

Then, “one of the male friends driving the vehicle ducked to avoid being shot and unintentionally rammed the car into Furr’s car, witnesses testified,” the Blade reports. “Furr responded by climbing on the hood of the car occupied by the transgender women and their friends and fired five times through the front windshield, causing three of the occupants to suffer non-fatal gunshot wounds.”

And of course, the facts don't matter:

-The cop solicited the woman for sex, she refused
-He got pissed off, and followed her to a cvs drugstore, where he pulled a gun on her (like, dude, that is self defense?)
-The gals and the guy in the car, after the cop drove off (after pulling the gun, mind you), followed him, and with no threat to him, he pulled out his gun and shot at the other car. Cops are only allowed to use deadly force when they are directly threatened,no shots were fired at him, and apparently none of the people was armed..so he simply got pissed and shot at the other car, which is a direct violation of rules any police force (well, okay, maybe not Decatur, Alabama or the entire state of Mississippi).
-Their car bumped the cops, and he got out and unloaded his gun into the other car, when there was zero threat to him.

So basically the justification was that the people in the car were transgender, so it was okay to do this.

We'll see if the federal government gets involved, whatever judge decided this penalty should be removed from the bench for obvious bias, if a cop had done this to a car with 3 genetic woman and a guy, this guy would be serving 10 years in jail.

What I never have understood, is how the right pretends to be so against "the state" these days, but they are always for "law and order" cops like this one.

I find it amusing that the media and the population are differentiating between "transgender" women and "genetic" women.

They may have been following for nefarious reasons. Or they may simply have been following him in order to get a tag number and identify the car so they could call 911 and report him.

Which is more likely?
1. Unarmed people in a car following a drunk who they know to be armed and dnagerous because they want to start something.
2. Being threatened with lethal force by someone and trying to get a description so they can report him.

Was it dumb to follow an armed drunk who's been threatening you with a gun? Probably.

I doubt this had much to do with the guys being gay. Police always get off easy for everything. For some reason, their job is considered more meritorious than other jobs. If you want to find a penis extender, you needn't look any farther than le bâton.

Mmmmhmm....funny thing is most of the military/cops out there know what the state can and cannot do yet has done and does anyhow and after leaving their station within that force and they aren't big dick on the block anymore they are suddenly the most wary of giving the state any more control/legal ground to be invasive esp when it comes to "It's for security purposes." ohhh every service member/cop KNOWS that's a pile of shit....
