Drug recall

***NOTICE***

The Bloods of Turf gang would like to post notice of recall of the drug "Cocain"
It has come to their attention that this drug has been improperly cut during the process for distribution. This drug is also known as base, blow, "C", charlie, Coke, the devils dandruff, flake, pearl, marching powder, peruvian, toot and many others, may have dangerous levels of hallucinogenic materials. Use of this drug in ways other than as directed may result in an out of body experience. Please return all unused materials to your nearest dealer for a full refund or exchange for a lesser cut.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

This is what i found too....

Update: Most if not all of the products listed above which formerly contained phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride have been reformulated to eliminate the ingredient. Consumer questions about phenylpropanolamine and its potential health hazards may be directed to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration at 1-888-INFO-FDA.

(i knew with all the talent here somebody would have heard about this)

Oh lord. That's gotta be even worse than getting them in your email box.

On the other hand I email everyone who sends me those things a link to snopes (I  snopes, too), so people are beginning to not send those things to me. :nana:

Drug recall???

Oh, yeah I can recall some very good drugs

and some I can't recall much after taking them :p

Good BS detector, Mazuri.

Well, being that I work at a major drug store chain, we get official emails on all recalls that affect us. Since we sell everything on that list and it's my job to pull recalled items (and I hadn't :D ), I figured it was an urban legend...kinda like folks waking up in their tub-o-ice missing a kidney.

We've had our fair share of recalls, though...all infant cough/cold items and a LOT of Robitussin, but the latter is due to a incorrect measuring cup, not the product itself. :)

Yes, I'm full of useless info :D

((edited to add)) Also, Tavist-D is no longer being sold under that product name :)
