I've been reading the new poetry thread. There is much there about being a poet and how that feels. It's all very surreal and tangled in our psyches from what I can glean about it.
So to the nitty gritty of my itty bitty thoughts on all this witty, shitty stuff...
Are they gum drops, sugar coated or dew drops beading on the grass? Would we feel better if they were rain drops and each poem was a puddle? Better yet, tear drops that fall, unheeded to blot and splotch upon the pages of life's book.
The title: Word Drops
The deadline: submitting on the 9th for posting on the 10th of February.
I don't expect miracles or childbirth or even a rare, pearl-like kidney stone, just a poem.
