Drone strikes against American citizens on US soil soon to become a reality

A new precedent is going to be set in the sham and bogus "war on terrorism," drone strikes against US citizens on US soil may soon become a reality. Missiles fired from drones kill at least 50 innocent and non-targeted individuals. If our criminal and illegitimate government kills an American citizen on US soil with a drone strike, and dozens of innocent other people are killed in collateral damage along with the individual who was allegedly a "terrorist," I would love to see the public's reaction to such an event.

For example, you could be in your apartment minding your own business, and then your entire apartment complex could get blown into dust and many innocent people living there could be killed, because one of the tenants there was deemed to be a "terrorist" by the government.

The federal government has more than sufficient access to tens of thousands of law enforcement personnel and military ground troops that they can simply come over to your house and shoot you.

It would be much easier to use a drone rather then send people to kill you. That way, you would not be putting any troops or cops in danger. That's the main reason why drones are used so frequently in Iraq and Afghanistan, to not put actual soldiers in danger. So you don't have to send actual soldiers into combat.

Besides, if an American is killed by a drone in his/her own country, it could create a massive chilling effect against anyone who dares challenge or dissent against the government.

...estimates are currently that by the end of 2020, more than 30,000 drones will be flying the friendly skies of the USSA.

I do not doubt a bit that before the next 7 years finish, USSA military/law enforcement will be utilizing armed drones over those same skies...

...and it would then be only a matter of time before American citizens are, indeed, droned.

And, if history repeats, that first time the statists will be going after a bad guy, but will inadvertently ice a gaggle of innocents along with him...

...the majority of Americans do not care now about such governmental disregard for human life now overseas; why would too many more of them care when it happens here?

I disagree. Drone strikes using hi-tech warheads are the perfect way to rid the nation of 'patriot groups'. Simply track the (at the time) suspect to the meeting point, let the drone linger overhead and when all of the (soon to be) terrorists have gathered, strike with a guided gravity bomb (can't risk smoke trail from missile). Evening news gathers and government investigation reveals that the terrorists were making bombs and screwed up, immolating themselves. The nation cheers and president carves another notch in his joystick.

No abuse of technology is ever overlooked.

Wow, 4 Americans dead from drones. Hey, just out of curiosity, how long does it take for 4 Americans to die from gun violence?

In 2010, about 31,000 Americans died from gun violence. There are about 525,600 minutes in a calendar year. That means that every 17 minutes, four Americans die from gun violence. Wow, those drones sure are scary!
