Some of you that know me, know that my brother and sis in law have spent 3 years in an overseas adoption process.

They got their referral today, and tomorrow we all get to see the picture of the little angel girl we've waited for.

At the end of Sept. they leave to pick her up. They'll be back around the time that another sister of mine has her baby.

I'm bouncing all over the walls! So, I hereby invite anyone who would like a reason to celebrate something good in the world to have a toast with me - in honor of patience, to celebrate opportunity and love, god, to just smile that something in this crazy world is simply wonderful.

Thanks, cg. The biggest worry now is the trip overseas to a not-always-friendly country.

I know. I've known people who've adopted from China, from Russia, and from some of the republics of the former Soviet Union. There were often last minute SNAFU's. Everything ultimately worked out, there were just extra hassel's and complicatons. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and yours.
