OK, not sure if this belongs in story ideas but hey.

The story I am currently writing is a bog standard been done a million times before innocent girl at university meets guy <insert sex scene> the end.

A little quirk I put into it just to make it a tad different is that the innocant girl has a slutty friend. Whilst the friend is away she borrows (well takes but hey) some sexy clothing, something she would normally never own, and wears it - to spice her life up a little, and to appear more appealing to the guy.

Anyways I was wondering if people wearing other peoples clothes like this was some sort of known fetish - if so what is the terminology used, and does anyone out there want to talk to me about it so I can understand and therefore write it up better?

Hmm, that's interesting. I've never heard of a name for that (although there still might be one, I don't know everything). But I've read several descriptions of stuff like that: a woman likes wearing her boyfriend's shirt because it smells like him, a man likes seeing his wife in one of his T-shirts because they look huge on her and her feminine shape shows through the masculine clothes, a high school athlete steals or is given the jockstrap of someone he admires and it either sniffs it/masturbates with it or wears it to every game as a good luck piece, a many puts his mother's ring on his new fiancee's finger, a woman wears the hair ribbon her lover gave her, etc.

Unless we're getting into something like a ("straight") man stealing/wearing ladies panties (especially if they're his wife's or whatever instead of going out to buy his own), I don't think there's quite a fetish for what you're describing.

Friends borrow clothes all the time. The fact that this girl usually wouldn't wear such clothes and "borrows" them while her friend is away would be slightly different, of course. Still don't know if it's a "known" fetish with a name attatched.

I think you could make the scene spicy without having to attatch a name to her act. In fact, if the girls are roomies in an apartment or have one of those dorm suites with a private bath you could write up a scene where she gets ready for her "special date" with her guy starting with a bubble bath or scented oils bath to pamper herself, and then go into details of how she might be feeling while putting on thigh high stockings and a garter belt for the first time, etc.

If this girl was a virgin before this "special date" (they could have played around some, of course) I think that would make the scene of getting ready for it even spicier.
