Dressing "Sexy"

Ahem...

I was recently asked by my date for an evening to "dress sexy."

I asked about the place we were going, etc. to try and get a feel for the appropriate dress, then to add those touches which would meet with my date's request.

This took me a really long time. I went over and over what it meant to "dress sexy."

So, I thought I'd offer it up here.

What do you think it means...to "dress sexy?" What are the criteria? Is there an easy way to do it? Is "how sexy" really an appropriate question? Do you dress for easy access (lol)? Or to accentuate your best features?

It always depends on my mood, what I find to be sexy....

I prefer casual. A t shirt, tucked in and snug levis are sexy!

Then, there are times, when I look for a bit of finesse to that sexy dress....in those moods, I like men wearing black.

I know this doesn't help because i think women. like men. have different visions concerning what "sexy" means.

Dressing sexy can mean many things to many men; if he's quite intimate he may want to know (or suggest) the type of lace underthings you would wear, such a seamed hose, a garter belt, a push-up bra or a lace thong. For others it could be the sexy platform heels (6"+ higher!) that drive him to a point of erotic desire for you. Maybe you're going to wear your hair down or show a little leg or cleavage. I don't care if you're a size 2 or a size 22, you're gonna be sexy if you believe it!

And don't let someone brow-beat or bullshit you into thinking if you're not like Tyra Banks, you're useless. Don't listen to them...

Sir Mix-A-Lot was right; he's got the right idea in his rap song "Big Butts"...but that is what I like!

In any manner, there are as many ways to dress sexy as there are men. But you, as a woman, will be totally desired if you exhude the idea; internally, you must Believe you're sexy, and not one other woman looks as good as you. All heads will turn with you, as will the heartbeats of the men in the room who see you on your mans' arm.

Light or heavy make-up, low cut or nothing (lacy/suppporting) underneath the otfit, formal dress or nasty PVC costume for Halloween, if you're sexy inside, it's gonna spill out.

I would tend to agree that it would help to know the place you are going and what the dress code is there. Men never think of that.

Dressing sexy is a combination of attitude, style and grace. The way you carry yourself. I know people who could wear a potato sack who would look incredibly sexy because of their confidence. So, in my opinion, that is the first step. Walk the walk.
Believe it. Own it. Flaunt it!

Once you establish if the date is formal or casual, dressy or not, then you can proceed.

You must keep in mind, too, the differences between 'sexy' and other terms. I see a wide range of possibilities here. There are circumstances where 'sexy' means classy. Elegant, lovely and enticing. I picture a long evening gown or a short cocktail dress.

Other times, 'sexy' means slutty. That, in my mind, means low cut tops and short short skirts. Skin tight. Fishnet stockings. Spike heeled shoes. Hot. Fiery. Screaming sex appeal!

'Sexy' can be a pretty dress showing your best assets - a hint of nice cleavage; or a slit up the side showing off beautiful legs.

Sometimes, 'sexy' is a pair of jeans and a t shirt - a clingy T-shirt that shows your breasts. Or a blouse partially unbuttoned that promises a hint of breast or nipple.
Tight pants that accentuate the shape of your butt. The curves of your body.
This paired with cowboy boots or strappy sandals is hot looking!

But, I am of the school that thinks a dress is the best way to look sexy. I like to watch as a man's eyes check out my legs - you can almost see the wheels spinning in his imagination as he wonders what is underneath! They can appreciate the turn of my ankle, the shape of my calves. Where DO those long legs end???

I love it when his eyes sweep across my breasts and he starts fantasizing about touching them. I like the idea that both people know that a dress affords easy access in case things get so hot you can't wait to get home.

If you can determine what his tastes are, then dress appropriately. Can you tell, from when you are together, what look turns his eye? What girls make him do a double take? That is a good starting point. But as Julian and I both said - it starts in the mind. You have to feel sexy and believe it yourself and it will be projected. It will certainly come across!

Sexy is fantasy. Dreams. Hopes. Possibilities. Fruition!

Sexy huh? Well that's a tough one but first you should find out the dress code for the place you are going. That way you can decide but personally I feel that "sexy" is wearing something that accentuates your best features wether it's your eyes or your ass. Which ever works for you!

Well, for me... Sexy is defaintly accentuating your features. To much skin isn't right, but it is defaintly nice to show a bit. Like for me, I love the way my shoulders look, so I like to go either strapless, or with skinny camisole style straps for a dress. Another thing I like is my legs. I was a dancer on pointe for many years, and have really strong muscels that show up great in a shorter skirt, with some sort of heels. But when I go short, I don't go so short that my ass cheeks are gonna stick out. That to me is more slutty looking then sexy. To an average guy, the first thought is easy access. When I dress sexy, I want to know that the guys behind me are eyeing my legs, and not my ass. Though, I guess it is nice when they eye that as well.

Overall, I feel sexy when I wear strappy dresses. I have a weakness for them. I have probably 20 of them, even though I can't wear them all that often. Hair is another part. I love my hair down and slightly curly, but it is also nice to show off the nape of your neck as well. Alot of guys go nuts over that. Makeup I keep very simple. Some light lipstick in a nueatural color. Eyeliner in a dark brown, mascara, very very light shadow just on the lower part of the lid, and some blush.

That is how I dress to go sexy. A cute little ankle bracelet looks nice too, just a simple one, like a plain silver one. It adds just enough of a flash that guys eyes are drawn to it.

Men are visual creatures. Ask you guy what he likes and remember the location is important. You don't want to show up looking like a hooker at a business dinner. The most important aspect in looking sexy is in your eyes and the attitude you convey. My ex-wife was shy, but with a few glasses of wine and a little prompting, she would get a 'fuck-me' look in her eyes that would do wonders to my cock or any other man's in the vicinity.
