Just wondering are there meanings behind dreams and some of your thoughts? Lately actually the last 5 nights repeated I have been dreaming of my wife's best friend, (I know what you are all thinking its been so done before and don't go there), but here is the thing I don't have feelings for her she actually annoys me a lot of the times but these drams are so graphic and lust filled erotic. I remember everything from them, in other dreams I may remember a name or nothing at all but with her it is every detail.

In my experience it's pretty common to dream of something like sex about someone who, in waking life, you feel no attraction toward.

• Freud would say it's all about wish fulfillment (i.e. you really are attracted, but in waking life you've repressed that attraction).
• Jung would go for a subtler and more nuanced explanation (e.g., the 'attraction' has nothing to do with the person, but instead something she symbolically represents to you, that you're not in touch with. As likely as not, the 'attraction' isn't even sexual, but that too is a symbol.)
• Pop psychologists will go for every imaginable explanation, the more outlandish the better.

Me: I don't like to agree with Freud about anything, but in this case I think I would. Except that maybe the "wish" isn't so much about this woman in particular, but about the freedom to fuck around in general.

Bottom line: people are complex, and so are dreams. There's never going to be a rote or textbook explanation that can give a hard-and-fast answer. The answer has to come from you. But sometimes listening to what everyone else says can lead you to your own answer.

I have this towards my neighbour. No attraction normally at all. I dislike her. But i dream of fucking her until she's exhausted and she's all over me, i dont understand the dreams at all. It was so erotic the other night i woke up covered in my own pre cum
