Dreaming of Lovers

This is something that has always intrigued me. How is it that i can dream of someone before i ever meet the person? There are countless times that i dream of a person, man or woman and actually meet or see that person on a later date. OK, so many of you have had that. That may be quite normal. Sometimes i tell the person of my dream. It is warm and friendly.

It gets complex when the dream involved having passionate sex with the person. This changes everything. If i am having sensual erotic sex with a lover that i have never seen before in a dream, and i know i am going to meet her at some point later, it opens up some pretty interesting possibilities. I resist the temptation to go right out and tell the person i have dreamed of her to see where it leads anyway.

Has anyone had a detailed dream of a stranger and met the person shortly afterwards and had an experience with the person that is almost on par with the dream? If so, did you ask the person if he or she had a similar dream?

I'm sorry to say that I've never been so lucky as to have such a gift. I've always found it to be an immensely erotic idea, however. Stories and novels written around that precept are a guilty pleasure of mind. Just the thought of how I would react when sitting across from a complete stranger with whom I had had wild sex with in my dreams make me want to squirm. It must be terribly awkward and arousing to be caught in such a situation. Awkward in a delicious way of course.

On the other hand, it could be a warning device too. I mean, if the dream-sex is bad you know better than go for it in real life.

i must admit that i've never really dreamed of a person then met them, or someone who looked like them... i think it's more likely that you see a person without consciously realising that they interest you... then dream about them... then make a conscious effort to meet them again... i've dreamed about having sex with people i know but fear there's not much chance of a real life fuck with them.

Thank you for saying that it is a gift, it is something that will develop if you work at it as with many things. It is a little awkward but more arousing than anything. It is really hard to ever know if the other person has had a similar dream the night before, or is picking up on my attraction to her being that i just dreamed of her and am now in front of her the sexual energy is immense. That cannot be hidden, i don't care what kind of discipline or system is used. Sexual Energy is very visible so the source of attraction will remain a mystery.

most definately this is a gift, that could easily be honed into many other things. i myself have never had this particular manifestation, but have experienced (when i used to dream) thing similar.

i've dreamed about having sex with people i know but fear there's not much chance of a real life fuck with them.

Dreaming of having sex with people i know does more than increase the chance of a real life fuck. It accelerates it and i have to figure out how to put up walls quickly so it does not happen or is not exploited inapropriately. This does happen but not with everyone i know(thank god/goddess).

Most recently it happened with someone whom i am very well connected professionally with. The next day in public she was all over me and i do not even think she was aware of how obvious it was. I was like, "uh oh....should i give her what she wants or be cool?" Well how that turned out is a whole other story that i will not go into now.

Yes, sexual dreaming of people that one already knows opens all kinds of doors in the relationship, or i should say the dreams rip the doors off the hinges leavning only erotic doorways with Freudian slip trails.
