So Trump is getting ready to decide the fate of "the dreamers."

I'm of two minds on this one. They don't belong here, they too are illegals. BUT They were brought here as the result of a criminal act committed by their parents and the Constitution expressly forbids "corruption of the blood."

Some people want them all kicked out, others want them all to stay.

I propose a compromise.

If they're 11 or younger they go back with their parents. 12 to 18 AND they've been here long enough to speak the language they get a pass (explained below). And if over the age of 18 and they been here long enough, they too get a pass.\

"The Pass." They will be allowed to stay in this country and apply for citizenship and that citizenship cannot be denied with the following provisions;

1. They have to apply within a reasonable time for "The Pass," say 6 to 9 months.

2. The minors HAVE to have a citizen sponsor.

3. They have to pass a rigorous background check. Criminal offenses? You're out of here.

4. They have to turn their parents (the original law breakers) over to INS.

Tough but fair? Got any other ideas?

While your vile spawn would obviously have no problem with this, most human beings have a somewhat more human pov.

#4 sounds like a weird bit of responsiblity for a minor.

No real man would ask that from a child.ish knows no kid would do that so that's why it is part of his considerate proposal to children who are already here legaĺly.

The Dreamers IMO have done nothing wrong and should be allowed to stay. However the parents, must pay a penalty. I would simply grant the parents temporary parole, (revocable if you run afoul of the law) until the child comes of adult age(18), then its deportation time, no exceptions. I don't want back taxes, jail time, nothing.

The illegals all say to a man and woman they wanted a better life for their children. Well congrats , mission accomplished but you're banned for life. Your kid can go visit you anytime they want.

You've already got your wish, since Trump rescinded the DAPA program months ago.

I can't think of too many "citizen sponsors" who are going to be willing to foot the bill for someone else's child either after these children turn in their parents for deportation. A brief perusal of the OP's post history implies he would not be in favor of government assistance for either the citizen sponsors or immigrant children.

That one isn't even in favor of paving roads with tax money.

The Constitution does not empower the Executive to make law. The Constitution empowers Congress to make law. The Constitution empowers the Executive to enforce ALL law made by Congress.

The Constitution empowers the Congress to make ALL immigration law, federal law that is then omnipotent over ALL state law because immigration is one of those few & specific areas the Constitution totally empowers the federal govt with - PERIOD (i.e., AX applies not at all.)

All current law made by Congress and enacted by Executive signature renders EVERYONE who enters this country not by the prescribed legal ways as illegally entering, and thus has committed a crime answerable by fine and/or imprisonment:

8 U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1325

The Executive has absolutely no constitutional authority to affect that law in any way, shape, or form. Ex-President Obummer's DACA policy actions are entirely unconstitutional and, in fact, render both him and Janet Napolitano criminally accountable to knowingly and intentionally shielding and harboring illegal aliens:

8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

You mean that all of those people crying alligator tears for these children and who vote to turn their cities/states into sanctuaries...

They won't open up their homes to the children of their gardeners and maids???

Perish the thought!

;) ;)

In all fairness, instead of telling the cops that our kid has taken the car out unauthorized, we report it stolen so that he can learn a little lesson in the hoosegow...

:D :D :D

Yeah. I would never ever take the car without permission.

I knew that it would only result in a beating...

Right out of the Litlib playbook:

Accuse someone of saying or doing something which never happened in a desperate attempt to denigrate them. In other words, lying.

One is only punished for the crimes one is caught for committing . . .

unless one has a conscience.

Then one can experience the exquisite pain of self-torture.

Trump will back down on this just like he backed down on Obamacare, holding the budget hostage for his wall, and being a pussy grabber.

Trump is weak sauce.

First of all WRT minors, that's a no brainer. "How long you been here? Where you been living?" That's going to come out anyway. Of course they can try to lie their way around it and in that case maybe we don't want them after all.

That particular requirement is targeted at the not-minors.
