Is anyone interested in an RP in the world of Dragonlance? Even if it's just a few people, that would be fine. This is my character:

Seulanna
Qualinesti Elf
Travelling singer/dancer

Hair: Blonde, past her hips
Eyes:Golden
Slender, girlish appearance, young by elven standards.
Typically has her hair down, with a floral circlet set over it, resting behind her pointed ears. Usually dresses showy, being a performer and all, showing enough skin to get attention but not enough to be indecent.

Name: Crysania
Hair: raven black
Eyes: Dark Blue
INFO: She is a cleric of Paladine. She keeps much to herself and is not much of a people person.

OOC: Its been ages since I read the Dragonlance Chronicles and I'm abit rusty on the setting, but I'll do my best.

Name: Kilinthanos Silvermoon
Race: Half Elf
Description: A tall man with very slight Elven features, he is a second Generation Half-Elf (born of two Half Elves). He has about him an Aura of despair, as if he is greatly depressed for some reason. He is a charismatic man , and such qualities make him a good leader, although he doesn't particulary like making the decisions. Long, golden blond hair and deep, blue eyes are framed by a clean shaven, fair skinned face. He is good with a sword, and is a natural born tactician. He also knows a fair share about the woodlands.
Statistics:
Height and Weight: 6'1", 165 pounds
Favored Weapon: Longsword
Typical Dress: soft walking boots, deerskin leggings, a tunic and a cloak, all in typical woodsmen colors.
Armor: Studded Leather, in times of serious battle-Splint Mail.

Nuit

Nuit is a tall dark haired violet eyed human.
He was bright and bubbly and playfull. but he recently took the test of high sorcery and it has left him...hollow. He had expected to recive the white robes but the test revealed he was a red robe after all. he has taken to carrying an iron shod staff to assist his walking and he has been sickly lately. but slowly and Nuitari willing he will be better soon.

OOC my work schedule is TERRIBLE but if youll put up with my disappering for a few days at a time Id love to join your Chronicles and perhaps help to make Legends out of us.:)

You know, I once knew a wizard of the red robe. That is, he was a red robe untill becoming black. That was interesting. First he and a few friends seperated from us. THen I could have sworn I saw him on the steps of the great library of Palanthius. Then, in Neraka, he saved my life by using his black magic. He also killed off a few draconians then, while we were trying to escape. I think he did that for me because we were good friends and I allways asked him (politely of course) to show me some good magic. Raistlin was allways nice to me. Except when I found the glasses of true sight. He told me that if I ever used those glasses to read some of his books, he would turn me into a cricken and eat me. I believed him too. I once saw him make a......

Name: Van
Race: Human
Height: 6'3
Weight: 158lbs
Weapons: Dual Hand-crossbows, Katana, Throwing stars/daggers
Description: Tall, Dark, handsome, and with a chip on his shoulder the size of the dragonspine mountains. Van's parents were killed while his family was travellign through a forest. He was saved when the forest's Ranger killed the bandits and rescued him. Seeing the child as the lone survivor the Ranger took Van in as his nephew and raised him in the ways of the Ranger. Even when a child, Van excelled in all the forms of his training, becoming an expert in most swords, and was a dead-shot with a bow. Though he was a kind-loving boy, he had a dark side to him, and was a main reason he trained so hard. One day when he was 15, his uncle and him were patrolling the forest when a large caravan passing thourgh was attacked by raiders. They both rushed into the battle and it appeard they would win, when the leader sounded a horn, and the sky was darkened by shadows as a few dragons swooped down and attacked them. van wasknocked unconcious and whne he awoke, he found the caravan slaughtered, the forest set ablaze, and his uncle's decapitated body hung from a tree. All that he could find was anote on the body of one of the raiders. It had orders to the raiders from one person, and wiping the tears form hsi eyes, he began walking out of the burning forest. Van has become a mercenary hoping that one day his jobs will lead him to the man responsible. He acts like a loner, deep-down afraid that if he gets close to anyone they might get hurt. But in a fight he will always go for the kill, unless he feels he can get information, inwhich case he will likely kill the person afterwards.

OOC:

I'd like to give this just another day or so at most to get all the people possible before starting, if that's OK with everyone?

I envisioned the opening setting to be a small tavern, a day's or so journey from the city of Palanthas, where Seulanna is spending the night, dancing and singing to pay for a room before she leaves for Palanthas.

Secar Olins

Name: Secar Olins
Race: Human
Age: 21
Height/Weight:6'0"/200lbs.

He has long blond hair, like a mane, dark blue eyes. He wears a black leather pants, black silk shirt and a black cape and hood. his weapons are a long sword and a two handed battle axe.

OOC: Post 'management'.

It looks like we have almost one of every class thats popular in Dragonlance. I don't remember too many Druids ,and I'm surprised nobody is a Knight Of Solamnia(spelling?((Paladins effectivly))) But we have 7 people so far, other than another Mage or Cleric, possibley another fighter, I don't see us needing to many more characters, but thats my opinion.
Second...are you going to 'DM' sarah?...I mean like generally describe the story or situation to us?...If not, with 7 or 8 different people it could get kinda chaotic. Just throwing out my suggestions and opinions.

Being the DM

Well, I will set the scene, but after that, it should be a *bit* chaotic, after all, everyone wants to do their own thing. But yes, I will try my best to keep control of things at least to a point, while still playing my character Seulanna.

dragonlance

hope I'm not too late, back from travels and catching up with old friends and meeting new ones:

Halia Westron
early to mid twenties
5'7"; slim but wiry and strong; grey eyes dark short hair
ranger/adventurer
good with a bow and sword excellent hand-to-hand fighter
some magic; sleep, sense evil, sense magic, truth-tell; infulence mind; charm (ie mostly around mind tricks)

Read most of Dragonlance stuff but havn't gamed for a long time.

Hey Petral, Register if your going to post. And another thing. What race are you? if you have some magical ability's, I'll assume your an elf who went as far as the test, but didn't take it and took up warrior status instead. (guilthas anyone?)

re halia
part elven
a little cynical but friendly (on surface) and generous
loyel and honourable to her own codes but slightly intolerant of silvanesti elves and solamnic knoghts rigidity
loves kender

Wow, you love kender? that's a first. I know that Flint liked me, Raistlin was kind to me, and the gully dwarves and gnomes were really fun, but I don't think I ever heard anyone ever say they liked kender! wow. I'm impressed. This reminds me of my good friend Paladin. You know, the god of good? the head god? the platinum dragon? Of course, I didn't know he was paladin for a while. He called himself Fizban. Actually, I allways called him fizban because he could never remember it himself. He was very absent minded that wizard. One time when we were facing some draconians on the elvin secret way, he spent the entire battle trying to remember a simple spell of webbing. Then long after the battle was over did he finally remember it and use it on the rest of us. come to think of it, there were only 2 times when he remembered a spell right away. one was when we were falling off of the giant chain in Pax thakas, he tried to cast featherfall, but was violently cut short and only got the feathers. it's really something to land in a heaping piles of feathers after running from a dragon. I try to get raistlin to recreate it but he's no fun. the other time was when we saw the dragon orb in mount nevermind. He kicked me and gnosh out of the room and becan casting all kinds of magics on the orb. It was fun for a while watching the lights through the door cracks, but I really wanted to be there when he did it. Afterwards, he came out and looked really tired and worn. it was the only time I saw him like that, and now that I think of it, I wonder how he could become so tired and worn. After all, he is the avatar and a god! you know, I once met another avaar god. This time it was Reorx, only he called himself.....

hey my least favourite people are those who hide things and put on a stiff upper lip to talk about honour and family etc. whats wrong with having a bit of fun now and again. i know some of my freinds would say I can get a little grim myself but I've never been known to scowl at someone just for being happy, Have you seen those solamnics sometimes, honestly you'd think that having fun was a sin. And I'm sure its good for the soul to not get to attached to possessions I have some cool maps if you'd like a look?

by the way if I wake up one morning and find my neck pendant missing i will do much worse than turn you into a cricket, I'll turn you into a knight like derek crownguard and you'll have to be really boring and never have adventrures for the rest of your life (big grin but I mean it)

Seulanna

OOC: No, I haven't dropped off the earth *just* yet. :)

IC: I sat by myself in the back room of the Wild Boar Tavern. Big Terzan, the owner, a jolly, rotund human male, had already looked in to see if I was set to go out. I nodded, smiling at him. He was always nice to me, every time I passed through this little town on my way to or from Palanthas. His patrons were definately the biggest tippers outside of the rich city, and he would always give me a free room and a warm meal, even if it was a slow business night. I sighed, feeling the little butterflies that always fluttered around in my stomach whenever I went before a sizable crowd. I checked myself in the mirror, smoothing my top, thinking to myself that this dress was probably too low cut, plus the slits up the sides that bared almost my entire legs was probably a bit much. Oh well. I smoothed out the front of the skirt and fixed my tiara, and turned to peek outside the curtain as Terzan introduced me. I snuck glances out at the crowd, picking up strangers with my elfsight, learning all I could. Mostly Solamnics, I thought to myself. Even a few knights. I took a deep breath and prepared to go on stage.

Tasselhoff burrfoot quickly got bored with the crowd, and decided to check out backstage. Caramon had told about their traveling performance shows to make money, and Tas had wished that he had been there to participate. Caramon insisted that they would have lost more money than made if Tas had been there, but he allways said stuff like that.

Not this time. I want to see what goes on back there, thought tas. He got up out of his seet, waded through a sea of beltbuckles, and made his way to the stage and behind the curtain.

"Hey, what are you doing back here you little thief!?"

"Thief? I'm insulted. I never stole a thing in my life." Tas responded instinktively.

"I'm sorry little kender, but usually, when someone shows up back here, they try to steal something."

"that's ok. I forgive you. Hi, my name's Tas!" he extended his hand to be shooken, which she accepted (to tas's suprise). "Wow, what a pretty tiare" he said, looking at the silvery small crown in his hands.

"Hey, Give me that! that's mine!" she said, taking the tiara from Tas's hands and placing it back on her head.

"Is it yous? I'm sorry. It must have fallen off. Good thing I was here to catch it, otherwise it might have broke on the floor. Though I could have sworn I had one just like it!..."

Kilinthanos Silvermoon

Kilinthanos let his eyes wander about the Tavern from his vantage point at the bar, spying the occasional Solaminc Knight amongst the travellers at the Inn. He sighed slightly as he idley sipped at his Ale, which was not the best he'd ever tasted. He nodded to the few friendly patrons that greeted him as they passed by the bar, but avoided any conversation. His travel worn boots and dust stained clothing spoke of long travels, the well oiled sword at his side and the studded leather he wore spoke of hard battles during aforementioned travels. He scratched at the stubble on his chin, thinking of how he could use a shave and a bath, as his finely developed, not to mention part elven, senses picked up on bits of conversation drifting about the Tavern air with the pipe smoke. He caught a few words from a Knight about the test he would have to pass to gain rank, and a bit from a few woodsmen about attacks from Orcish raiders. Talk of tonights upcoming performance was a popular subject, especially among the males of the audience as they whispered about the bards Elven beauty.
Kilinthanos yawned, noting the fatigue from a long days travel falling over him. He decided to stay awake abit longer, and perhaps catch the performance of this Elven bard...

Secar walkins in to the tavern and walks up to the bar. Asks for a pitcher of rotgut and to cups. The barkeep asks if he's waiting for someone. Secar replies simpy "no".takes the dink and the glasses to a table sits and drinks out of both glasses wile waiting for the entertainment to begin.

Van

Sitting at a table to the side of the stage, Van sat by himself drinking his drink. Paying not attention to anyone else in the bar Van just sat there drinking his drink with one hand. His other hand resting beside one of his crossbows...
