Dragon Heart (Closed)

Harmony was the sort of person everyone wanted to know, even the animals. She was full of passion, even tho she is eighteen she was more adult then most fully grown adult. She was walking in the forest one day when she heard a small whimpering type roar when she followed it her eyes went wide, she saw dragon slayers dead and a mother dragon curled up to her dying baby. She walked up to the dragons and noticed the mother dragon looking at her.

"Shh girl I mean no harm, let me help your baby" She said in a pleading voice as she bowed her head showing her respect to her.

Harmony walked to the small dragon she felt her heart dying she took a deep breath as she placed her hand on the baby's forehead. "Shhh little one you will be ok" As she concentrated on the dragons pain her body seemed to glow a ruby red. When her eyes opened up a melody escaped the human girls lips as her voice sang.

"Armies have conquered
And fallen in the end
Kingdoms have risen
Then buried by sand
The Earth is our mother
She gives and she takes
She puts us to sleep
In her light we'll awake
We'll all be forgotten
There's no endless fame
But everything we do
It's never in vain

We're part of a story, part of a tale

No one's to stay
Where ever it's going

Forests and deserts
Rivers, blue seas

As she sang Harmony grew weaker as soon the baby dragon's wounds were gone and her heart was beating ever so strong. Her power came with a price, she took something from her pocket and drank a small vile if she didn't drink it she would have cought up blood and not wanting to scare anyone she sighed. "Its done great mother" She bowed her head to the mother dragon.

She was surprised to see what she was seeing but she smiled and sighed a bit "my power comes with a price" She said softly. She saw the little girl and smiled it was then she heard something and moved her head towards the sound. She was in a long black dress and before them were hunters again, she had to defend them she had her get out of harms way. She stood right out in front of the woman she heard the sounds of a horn coming in the distance.

She crossed her arms over her chest as she concentrated, it was then when she opened her eyes and began to walk her outfit changed. She sighed some she stood to her side and a symbol on her chest, one of a guardian, a protector of dragons. Her future was made clear in seconds she had two golden weapons in her hands and smirked and dashed right at the hunters which were at least five, jumping into the air she twirled around in the air and shot at the hunters.

She landed as three men were killed and twirling around on her feet shooting at the men, she smirked some looking at the remainder who were dead, she sighed some twirling her weapons in her fingers as they vanished, turning around she saw the woman with her daughter and walked over to them.

"You two ok?"

She made a gesture with her hand and her long jacket was in her hands and put it around her to keep her warm. "My name is Harmony" She said softly "Come let me get you and your baby some place warm before you freeze to death" She said with a mothering tone to her, she sighed happy that everything was going to be ok.

She smiled looking into her eyes and helped her the rest of the way "You don't like humans do you" She giggled "Well least our body" She said simply "I have some clothing im sure you can fit into " She showed her where to sit on a nice comfy couch.

She looked at her with a puzzled look "If you don't like human form then why take it?" She said with a kind tone in her voice. She sighed a bit relaxing in a chair across from her, she watched her daughter suckling from her, she was so cute she smiled and giggled a little.

She nodded "I was forced to live out here, people saw what I could do and called me a witch so I have no family, no friends, just what you see in here" She sighed looking at the sleeping baby, crossing her arms she began to wonder. "Im a lonely person but im used to it"

She looked at her and gave a small soft smile and nodded "My father was a dragon rider, most people that were dragon riders mistreated there dragons but my father....he always showed respect to his dragon he called Draco. They were partners, he once told me im a dragon guardian but never believed in it but I do now"

She was hesitant she had never held an infant before, but as she looked down at Neilla's baby she remembered a song her mother once sang to her, she stroked the side of the baby's face as she began to sing a lullaby softly.

"Hush now my baby be still love don't cry...sleep like your rocked by the stream....sleep and remember my lullaby...and i'll be with you when you dream...drift on a river, that flows through my arms, drift as im singing to you....I see you smiling so peaceful and calm and hold you and im smiling to...here in my arms....safe from all harm...holding you im smiling too....

Harmony smiled "I try" She said softly relaxing on the couch she looked at her "You know I can understand what you dragons say some what, I can read body language, there is a pendent I wish I could get, would let me talk to every being on this planet...but haven't been able to get it since I can't fly"

She looked down "It belonged to my mom, but id never ask that of you to help, you have a child to raise, something happens to you she would be alone in the world "

She smiled some and just nodded "I wont let anything happen to you or your child, I will watch the two of you like a hawk" She smirked and sighed a bit. She noticed the baby start to stir and Harmony picked the baby up so she would not wiggle off the couch and smiled seeing her small eyes open up.

She smiled "Yes I know a bit about dragons" She looked at the baby "Im sorry sweet heart I don't have any milk I can give you" She went over to Nella and carefully handed the baby over, she felt bad she couldn't give the baby milk but she had never had a baby, so she was unable. "Unfortunately for your daughter ive never had a child so there is no milk in me" She sighed "Pretty much useless.."
