Dragon Ball Z Story idea

hey, i have an idea for a new story using dragon ball z characters. one of the problems im having is that i dont know if this comes under sci-fi, humor or celebrity.
the characters include:
goku
chi chi
krillin
bulma
videl
piccolo

any ideas are appreciated as well.

I've tried to do this a few times and never really got it off the ground. It will be celebrity though without a doubt. Anything that even resembles a real thing will be celebrity. Take my Power Ranger saga, no real rangers or villians or zords, just the basic idea about aliens attacking the earth and five multicolored teenage ninjas and it still got celebrity. You're using real names, you're screwed.

I think you might be able to get away with telling either stories about the between the saga's years or maybe just a complete retelling of the DBZ sl if you have that kind of energy. I know I don't.

Celebrity I know. If you use charachters that are actually trademarked by somebody it will fall under Celeb and if you try to put it someplace else they will change it for you.

On a more technical note when working with charachters as beloved as the DBZ cast you have to be careful because people will rip you apart for the stupidest things. Why is Goku SS4 when that doesn't happen until episode ???, where is Vegeta he returned to earth episode ??? a full seven days before Goku meaning that Goku couldn't possibly have fought off Frieza and Cooler on his own. Blah blah blah. I'm telling you, fan boys are some mean muthas.

I guess its lucky for me that Im a fairly avid fan myself. But I'm not planning on doing anything like that SSJ4 (Super saiyajin as its known in japanese) because ive limited myself to the stuff thatthe original creator of the Dragonball and Dragonball Z show made, not the newones by those americans.

As for them being mean muthas, the only thing im planning on letting them be mean about is the way my characters express themselves in my story, it will be VERY different to what was portrayed in the show

Well, heck, if you're going to have Krillin in there (and he is my favorite of the DBZ bunch, btw), you may as well throw in Eighteen too. If Videl is around, then Eighteen should chronologically fit in.

I think as long as you make it an interesting read, it should work out okay. The less you focus on their specific abilities, the more you open yourself to fan-boy criticism (which, as mentioned, there will be plenty of regardless). You can keep their mannerisms (in fact, you almost have to), but we don't need to hear anything about fighting styles or ka-me-ha-me-ha waves. Just a thought.

Bear in mind that what I said is just my opinion. If you got a good fun stroke story going, then by all means continue!

I need a guys opinion now though. If a character like say android 18 used her power to increase the speed on which she bobbed her head up and down on a certain character penis, would the friction caused by her lips and tongue hurt?

u know, im not a freak, but from what ive seen of ganondorf in my times as a skinny little games player, i gotta agree.... big, broad shoulders, dark and powerful...... erm, back to the point, yes, very spunky indeed, lol

i never considered using buu like that, interesting....... but how would he make himself vibrate? would he just slap like his belly and make the girls ride them out as it were?
