Dr Who: The Wheel of Time - OOC Cast Call

This first post will be the basic information on the thread.

Being a childhood fan of this cult sci-fic classic I wanted to try to recreate this idea in a thread situation.

PREMISE:

A great event occures in the centre of the universe when a rift opens in the time and space continuum. This causes dimensional doorways to open that lead to the emerging of Stargate/Star-trek/Doctor Who and Star Wars characters meeting on a strange planet that is only known as Genesis. On a large landmass in the centre of a great chasm stands the Wheel of Time that can be used to repair the rift or to be used to control Space and Time forever and as well as the dimensions.

This thread brings together the Universes of Stargate/Star Wars/Star Trek and Doctor Who together. What will take place? What enemies will join forces? What new alliances will form? And more importantly who will attain the Wheel of Time.

Various Star Wars characters (people interested can play them)
Doctor Who - 12th and final regeneration
The Master - the last clone.
The Daleks - Cybermen - TimeLords greatest enemies of the Doctor.
Enterprise of Startrek (various characters people can pick from)
The Wheel of Time Guardian.
The Indegenous Genesis beings

But the Dalek Supreme - with his spiffy black & gold coloring, extermination gun barrel, and powerful extending plunder arm!

With some of the ladies like Teagan and Nyssa I agree. Now the jelly bean popping Tom Baker doctor was my favourite.

In the following posts I will set the storyline in a brief preface.

300 Standard Warrior/Worker Daleks...
39 Specialty Daleks (You know, the wierdos with blowtorches or other strange non-plunger arms)
100 Special Weapons Daleks (Cannon! Whoo!)
25 Red Daleks (Saucer Commanders)
25 Black Daleks (Troop Commanders)
10 Gold Daleks (Commander of Sensitive Missions, like fiddling with time)
And one off-colored Dalek of no obvious purpose.

How's that? Good, no? (Okay, that's asking between two options, not trying to be,...foriegn or something.)

Personally, I think it appropriate for the final regeneration of the Doctor to be rather like the best.. "the jelly bean popping Tom Baker doctor," as PV so aptly put it. Therefore, assuming there are no objections from either of you two gentleman, I shall accede to my Blue Eyed lady's wishes, and let this thread mark my return to posting... as the Doctor.

I think that Daniel would have a lot more fun if he weren't the only SG-1 character here, so I can do Colonel Johnathan "Jack" O'Neill, unless and until someone else wants the role.

Not looking like anyone from the Star Trek/Wars universes wants to jump in, though. If they do, I can play complementing characters from there, too. (Please don't let anyone pick Star Wars... *shudders* After what Lucas did to the mythos in Episodes 1 and 2... *barfs*)

On second thought.. would control of the Wheel of Time allow one to find Jar Jar and kill him repeatedly, backwards throughout time and space, until every instant of his misbegotten existence was utterly and irrevocably erased? Promising.. very promising.

Ehh, the white/gold of Davros's Imperial Daleks is just lame.

The Wheel of Time

This had been the last ever symbol of the Ancients. The Ancients had vanished through the Gate but had left in its wake an Ancient who was known as the Wheel of Time Guardian without a name that has not been spoken in eons.

And the Wheel of Time was kept in a dome in the centre of the largest landmass of this planet Genesis. The Indegenous beings of this Planet was in awe of the dome and the silent and mute being that guarded their holy grail, their God. They built a settlement around the closed dome and paid homage and pilgrimage to the dome.

But one indegenous being was too inquisitive, the being touched the dome and was killed instantly when the Wheel of Time started to turn at first slow but steadily faster and faster, shooting a beam of pure white light at the being who dematerialised in screams of agony. But the Wheel of Time was not done, the Wheel turned skywards and shot a beam high through the atmosphere into space. The beam did not stop, it travelled light years until it reached the nexus of the universe where it caused a rift in the time and space continuum.....the dimensions were opened and this is where the story of different beings from different time-frames/dimensions came together and were led to the Planet Genesis.

Ummm, okay.

I've got a few questions.
Some of them seem fairly obvious, but I just want to make sure...

1) - Different Dimensions? So, no one would know about each other, right? And, let's say, a sly and cunning Dalek Supreme could trick some poor saps into helping him/it/they/daleks/whatever.

2) - How are we supposed to learn about what the Wheel of Time can do? I mean, will we somehow know it caused it, have to question the natives? How will we know it has the power to give one supreme control.

3) - If the Wheel disintigrates whatever touches the dome, how are we supposed to get at it? Or is that something we're supposed to figure out for ourselves in the thread? Which is an okay answer, too, but I was wondering if there was a certain way to do it, like have the guardian die or give it up, or only when the moon is full or something.

4) - What exactly do the natives look like? Are they large, shamanistic rat-people who worship the guardian as an indifferent god? Or do they look like giant badgers or something?
