Did you have to give a lot of information when you joined? Email, birthday, and username... That's it. Plenty of people read here without even doing that. You do not have to be a member to read stories or the message boards.

You retain the copyright. There is no restriction on anyone downloading your stories to their computer.
There is also no restriction on them copying them and reposting them under their name...right back here on Lit. (don't laugh there have been a few idiots out there)
There is also no restriction on them posting them on Amazon for profit under their (assumed) name. Has happened many a time.

Folks with Android devices can install the LIT Android app. It allows preloading ten stories. Load a batch when you're online; offline, click on Recently Read. There they are! Cutting and pasting from a computer screen gets old because you must handle each LIT page by itself. Try that with a 20-page super-story like Purely Sinful. With the app you can load ten 20-pagers or more, no problem.
