A stake driven at the heart of Putin's War Machine...Trump’s decision to nominate Burgum as Secretary of the Interior is a clear signal that his administration intends to prioritize both energy independence and responsible stewardship of America’s natural resources. His experience navigating North Dakota’s oil boom while promoting conservation efforts suggests he’ll approach federal land and resource management with a pragmatism often missing in Washington.
Another good pick.
It’s rather amusing that the crowd that was just vanquished a week ago, are screaming the loudest about President Trump’s cabinet picks. Had their boy and girl done a bang up job, they wouldn’t have to be turning it up to 11 now would they!Trump’s decision to nominate Burgum as Secretary of the Interior is a clear signal that his administration intends to prioritize both energy independence and responsible stewardship of America’s natural resources. Were you expecting that losing would stop people from providing their commentary on current political events? It’s rather amusing that the crowd that was just vanquished a week ago, are screaming the loudest about President Trump’s cabinet picks. Nah, I don’t like the Gaetz selection at all. Won’t be surprised if that nomination doesn’t go through. I like Burgum’s business and governing experience. The fact that he’s governed a petroleum rich state is an added plus.Another one unworthy of the office. Bro are you just gonna thumbs-up every pick without doing any research?

It is. People with experience in the right jobs.Nah, I don’t like the Gaetz selection at all. Won’t be surprised if that nomination doesn’t go through. I like Burgum’s business and governing experience. The fact that he’s governed a petroleum rich state is an added plus.
Yeah, but look at who's being appointed to work under Gaetz. Trump is putting together teams here. You can see a lot of thought and planning has gone into this, and you can bet this will be happening everywhere there are political appointees.Nah, I don’t like the Gaetz selection at all. Are you trying to say Harris is competent? Reaaaaalllly? Oh you foolish misguided boy.We can always count on racist fascist conspiracy nut Chloe to make up dumb things and post them.
Loons are funny.
My problem with Gaetz is he doesn’t get anything done. Just a rabble rouser who thrives on drawing attention to himself. Also slimy character. Glad he’s resigned from Congress and won’t mind a bit if his nomination tanks. The are plenty of more capable pit bulls who can clean up the DoJYeah, but look at who's being appointed to work under Gaetz. Trump is putting together teams here. I can't remember of the top of my head how many political appointees there are, but it's in the thousands, so that's a lot of resignation letters to be demanded and accepted, and a lot of the right people to put in place on Day One.

Energy and environment
[edit]
Burgum supports the fossil fuel industry, especially in the Bakken region of western North Dakota.[101] He supports the Dakota Access Pipeline.[102] He has said that American energy independence is an issue of national security. He derided what he called a "full-on assault of liquid fuels in this country" and has regularly criticized policies to subsidize electric vehicles. He called for opening Bureau of Land Management land for energy-related activities such as rare earth metal mining and oil and natural gas drilling. He promised to make North Dakota carbon neutral by 2030; he said he would loosen regulations for the gas industry, but also said he is committed to clean energy projects.[103]
Burgum criticized the Biden administration for policies phasing out gas stoves in some forms of new housing.[8]
