Friends and acquaintances of Ahmad Khan Rahami, the 28-year-old NJ resident who was arrested this morning for allegedly setting off bombs in Chelsea and Seaside Park, NJ this weekend, can't believe the "nice guy" who gave them free food at his family's NJ restaurant could have done something so horrible. "He was my friend…I wouldn’t think he would do something like that,” 17-year-old Brayant Ocampo told the Guardian.

Flee Jones, 27, a childhood friend of his, told them the Rahamis would let him and his friends host rap battles in the back of the restaurant. But after he went to Afghanistan around four years ago, the Times writes "he grew a beard and exchanged his typical wardrobe of T-shirts and sweatpants for traditional Muslim robes. He began to pray in the back of the store. His previous genial bearing turned more stern."

Once the passport was renewed she found out she was pregnant and they told her they wouldn't give a visa until she had the baby, Sires said. They also told her when she had the baby they had to get an immigrant visa for the baby. At point Rahami claims the consulate told him to go back to Karachi, but he claimed it was too dangerous to go there. The congressman doesn't know what happened after that.

Likewise, Trump’s height jumped from 6 foot 2 to 6 foot 3. It’s worth noting that according to the Centers For Disease Control, if Trump’s weight, 236, isn’t a lie, then a 6 foot 2 Trump would be categorized as “obese” by the CDC’s standards. But if he were to magically grow by an inch to 6 foot 3, while remaining 236 pounds, then he slips into the less dire “overweight” classification. Convenient growth spurt for a 70-year-old man.

Am I overthinking Trump’s numbers? Maybe. But, hell, no one in the traditional political press is investigating it, despite Trump’s long history of brazen mendacity and his previous history with suspicious Bornstein letters.
