Hillary and Donald, in the public eye.
What are the rules of engagement?
Hillary clearly fell into a pit, this week.
It was not until she fell into the pit,
did she understand she had failed to perceive
one of the rules of engagement.
It is very clear, that she is in the responsible,
sane,and trusted adult category.
She is allowed no leeway.
She is allowed no missteps.
Donald is L'enfant terrible.
He is allowed everything, and anything.
No one expects him to be responsible.
They accept every insanity from him.
They do not believe or trust a word he has said.
He painted himself as absurd, outlandish, and unbelievable.
A jester, where everything that might be said by him,
may be taken as a joke, a jibe, a stab, a jest.
Donald is not a king's jester, but one of many roles
that Donald has chosen, is Jester.
A jester wears a " parti coloured" garment.
Donald wears a parti coloured collection of personas.
He is not expected to behave with decorum.
He is not expected to adhere to the rules of acceptable behavior.
King of Misrule.
The role takes an ugly turn, when his followers beat a protester.
The cute little balloon of a dried bladder, of a jester
becomes a heavy cudgel, in the hands of Trump's followers.
AUGUST 21, 2015
They broke his nose. his eye socket, gashed his face, beat his skull, broke his ribs, damaged his chest, broken his fingers, broke his arm.
First reaction to the violence visited on the sleeping man, was "Terrible." "A shame." With the next breath, Donald praised the two drunken violent yahoos.
"...two South Boston brothers who were on their way home from a Red Sox game. State Police say Steven and Scott Leader both urinated on the man and beat him with a metal pole."
"After they were arrested, one of them admiringly quoted his political hero. “Donald Trump was right; all these illegals need to be deported."

Donald's response, without any reference to his speech containing racist, and heated dislike of illegal immigrants
“I will say that people who are following me are very passionate,” Trump said to The Boston Herald. “They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate."

It seems that Donald is allowed to be particularly nasty, if Hillary has fallen.
"She is so protected right now,” Trump said, “she could walk into this arena right now and shoot somebody with 20,000 people watching––right smack in the middle of the heart––and she wouldn’t be prosecuted.”
"She is trigger happy."
"Personally, I think she is an unstable person."
VS How invulnerable Donald sees himself, to attack.

Hillary, you have spent a lifetime accumulating honor and respectability.
Presidential female decorum is expected from you.
Eyes are always watching, ears are always listening.
The Age of Innocence never ended for women, at your level.
Your public face is your fortune.
Applying the Victorian double standard,
Donald is male, and may be forgiven anything.
There is no outrage, that he can pronounce, that will discourage his followers.
He has already suggested an incestuous interest in his daughter.
He expressed pride in bribing and extortion.
Every low and unacceptable act of his has been documented.
Hillary remains vulnerable to every jab and slight.
Donald remains king of his grifter's hill of losers. Followers, supporters, lackeys, and underlings, and defeated losers.
Her speech
"I know there are only 60 days left to make our case — and don't get complacent, don't see the latest outrageous, offensive, inappropriate comment and think well he's done this time. We are living in a volatile political environment."
"You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables."
-Hillary Clinton
The back of every Republican is stiff with anger.
One emotion is vibrating inside them.
Hostility.
You made the horrible mistake
of seeming to lump all Republican voters together
They are reacting to an insult.
Hillary, you have experience as a diplomat.
This is an inexcusable gaffe.
You know in your heart, as soon as you attacked voters,
they stopped listening with their ears.
You kicked them in the ego.
You fucked with their self image.
You are now the woman that made an
outrageous, offensive, inappropriate comment about
each and every Republican.
The words on your telepromper should have given you pause.
You were so caught up in the sense of warmth, acceptance,
and supportive atmosphere, you missed a glowing red warning light
"volatile"
All they heard, was that you put all Republicans in a basket.
All they heard was that you have the opinion that they are
the worst people in the world.
"Right? [Laughter/applause]. The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America."
