Oh yes, most of the time it's a 'dry' heat... But it can get pretty wet in these here parts too! ;)

PB... With the cherry on top? I'd be at a loss to ever say no to you!

last time i was in phoenix was during monsoon season watching a truck swimming down indian school, now what the FUCK was that all about ?

This sounds interesting

DesertAmazon, I triple-dog dare you to tell us just what that double-dog dare that you won't do, was?

Mensa,

A little fire works and breaking rules thingy, calling someone on honesty...something about breaking in the New Year with a bang and someone who knows a little about pushing my buttons... ;)

Like I told my friend, who happens to be RIGHT (geez, I admitted that out loud--hell will surely freeze over now), who knows? I've been known to act on impulse...just not at this moment in time.

Sounds like it could be fun. Just so long as your doing it doesn't end up involving the phrase "film at eleven" :D

Now that we'd all like to see

Anything hitting the news it too much drama for me, I'm not into theatrics... :)

I sent you a PM.

I must confess that I was hoping it involved something like daring you to "streak" the Super Bowl or something.

Hey! Would my double-dog daring you to "streak" the Super Bowl work? :p

lol, that's our monsoon. It can be pretty violent here at times and very dangerous if you don't understand the weather and the signs. I live just a little over a mile south of that road. The part where I am is a little higher in elevation, but it depends on the extremity of the storm and where it hits. They even have a "Stupid Motorist" law they passed for the morons that try forging roads that are washed out. They get to pay when the helicopter or fire department get called in to rescue them

Yes suffering through 27 years of monsoons in Phoenix is quite nasty. There's only one good thing about them....you can watch the wall of dirt as it comes in on the News. Looks like something out of a movie. I just stay inside when they come...no need to become one of those Stupid Motorists myself. Coure that law is like Shannon's Law... just how ignorant do the ignorant have to be.
