Introduction
True love is a bond unbreakable, a chain of the finest silk and strongest steel forged in the fires of passion, tempered by the waters of agony. Pure Hatred is a weapon indestructible, a sword beyond comprehension, a fuel beyond measure, born in pools of innocent blood and twisted into obsession. These are the doors to the Netherside. Light beyond measure or darkness beyond hope.
Far and away from here the Netherside is twisted world of powerful spirits and monsters, created by the dark thoughts and beautiful dreams of the human mind. Beyond the doors and into the depths of this world there is beauty and danger, adventure and reward for any brave enough to reach for them.
Some venture here to see departed loved ones, some have come hungry for glory, all seek the unspeakable powers of the dead. But we are waiting, we monsters, we ghosts, on high cliffs and dark keeps, in bright meadows and rolling hills so come wizard, come warrior. If you seek our secrets, face our rage, the wrath of the Netherside.
The Story
(This game is open to the right person. I am seeking a skilled partner with an eye for detail and the love of a good story. This thread may progress slowly, or seem tedious but it is to be written with the utmost care.)
Once upon a cold November night,
A young woman is shot repeatedly while trying to save the love of her life, as she lays bleeding to death in her lovers arms his hatred for the men that have taken her away from him drives him to the brink of insanity. As the girl is taken to the hospital the boy is taken into custody for psychiatric evaluation. The young woman slips into a coma, and as months slide by her star crossed love is released, with no concrete memories of what happened. As he slowly tries to go back to his life he finds himself restless, angry and consumed by one thought: Revenge. But for what? He cannot remember how he was wronged, only the faces of those who did it. As he begins to hunt his former attackers he experiences blackouts, and begins to lose the tattered bits of memory left to him. The closer he gets to finding his prey the more frequent the periods of darkness become. During his blackouts he travels to the Netherside. An alternate world torn apart by the countless wars, and trials of human imagination. There he meets a woman who he finds familiar, but can't quite name. Together they begin to explore the vast realm in which they seem to be trapped, seeking an escape back to the world they know.

I'll be taking the role of the man with amnesia, and I would like a partner, obviously to take the role of the young woman that is trapped both in the netherside and in a coma. Character Description
Charlie Denver, twenty four years old on the night his lover was gunned down on the sidewalk trying to shield him from an angry thug has become a moody alcoholic with only a few tattered remains of a memory and nearly no conscience. His one obsession is finding the men who hurt him, and finding out how.
Unbeknown to Charlie, he was once a happy young man working as a police officer in a small town on the west coast. His girlfriend (insert preferred name here) had taken him into Seattle to see a movie on his birthday, and they had been attacked by local gangster Dorian Jackson a man that didn't approve of Charlies refusal to go on a payroll.
Working as a security guard by day Charlie is scratching out a meager existence while chasing after any lead he can find on who wronged him, and slowly slipping into the world of the Netherside.
In the dangerous alternate reality of Netherside Charlie is a much happier person, free from his obsession he is a laid back easy going young man with a love of adventure. Together with his companion he begins exploring determined to find a way to free his new friend, who for some reason desperately wants to escape back into the 'real' world. He is steadfast, loyal, and is at ease no matter what they face. Here beyond reality his companion can cast powerful magics and summon spirits she has befriended to aid them, while he wields weapons made of pure spiritual energy.
Charlie does not resemble the man he is on earth when he crosses over to the other world. On earth he is tall, dark, and lean, a once handsome face has withered away under the stress and rage of his day to day life. While in the Netherside, he is tall, with a shock of wild naturally spiky red hair, and blue skin. His body is lined with jade colored runic tattoos and powerful muscles.
