...out of the blue you get an email from an ex and realize you haven't thought of him in ages and it really doesn't matter anymore?

:D :nana: :D

I have no idea...I have never had an email from an ex...

Depending on the ex, sometimes it's cool to hear from them, and sometimes I know it just means trouble, stirring up emotions for no good reason...

I can see that...I have one ex that the breakup was amiable, and we were better friends after that I would love to hear from...

I've never heard from any of my exes... but then I dated them all when I was a teenager.

I just wrote an ex a totally fake email. :D

He had kept trying to IM me after treating me like shit over a year ago, so I wrote him an icky sweet one, thanking him for dumping me, because "I never would have met the love of my life if you hadn't." - then I invited him to the (pretend) wedding.

I'm such a bitch.

I know what you mean. Before the interweb. Before computers. Before the horseless carriage. ;)

Only really have one ex. And I haven't seen or heard from her in over fifteen years.

Just as well, I don't think I'd be nice to her.

Think he'll come? ;)

*shrug* I went for burgers and a movie with an ex yesterday. You could say we don't exactly have issues to resolve. :)

ps. Cloudster, you're mean. Rock on.

I am shocked..............shocked, I tell you, to discover that you have left one of your exes alive.

:D Great to see you back, cloudy.

I've never spoken to any of my exes again.
Well, I have, but they were nothing but coincidental meetings.

Yeah - I have one ex in particular, and I can't imagine a time when seeing her name in my inbox wouldn't be jarring, to say the least. I look forward to the time you're referring to, when I've healed enough that I'm back in control of those reactions.

You're so evil, I love it!

If I don't want to hear from a man ever again I let him know that in a way that he plainly understands. Now that I think of it, there is no ex I want to hear from.

very soberly ;) ,
