You finally finish a story and then when you finish submitting it you realize you made an error or needed to do one last thing like add thanks to an editor.

I submitted my four nights ch 2 and do to being tired or just out of it in some fucking way I misspelled a word in the fucking title!

Am I alone in this?

I did it once- bad typo in the tag line- but caught it next day on my page before it posted.

If your story has not posted yet, click pending, then make the change. If its already up submit an edited version, unfortunately that will take a few days to go through.

Frustrating, but falls under "shit happens" I guess.

Nope, you have company. I've done the same thing during my previous incarnation at Lit. Luckily, it is quite possible to change after the fact.

"Simply submit the new version as you submitted the old one, only adding the word "EDITED" to the title (ex. "My Sexy Firefighter Ch. 03 - EDITED") so that we know to replace the old text with the new text. We will then replace the original text with the new text. Your story will retain its previous voting score and views. Edited stories take up to 48 hours to appear correctly on the site as the pages must be regenerated by the site scripts. If after 48 hours your submission edits are still not showing, please email us a link to the work in question.'
From Literotica's FAQ

In my first story to lit. I reversed the names of the characters about 2/3 through and never noticed.

Typos

While in college taking one of the required comp and rhetoric courses I used spellcheck as I did my editing as I was typing into the computer. I did not proofread and it cost me a higher grade. I found out that spellcheck only checks the spelling of the word you used, not if the word used is the correct word. I haver never made that error again.

I schooled before computers (I worked on and built early systems) and composed manually. My spellcheck was Webster's University International. The necessity of typing perfect papers imposed a certain discipline -- no fucking around at the (manual) keyboard.

It's all a matter of focus. Pay attention.
