Ok, so I'm in a creative mood ^_^

Name: Lily (The name the villagers gave her)
Age: 26
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 124lbs
Hair Red
Eyes: Emerald Green
Cupsize: 36C

Appearance: Straight red hair falls gently about her shoulders, and beneath a few bangs are a pair of bright green eyes. She has a very energetic appearance, and she almost always has a smile on her fair face. Her skin is a light tan, and she has a few dotted freckles just above her nose and below her eyebrow ridge. She wears a crimson colored longsleeved shirt, a red sash around her waist, and a pair of crimson silk pants, gently blowing in the slightest breeze. She doesn't wear any padding on her feet, the grass providing a bit of comfort to her moving feet. Around her neck is a small crystal that her adopted parents gave her when they took her in almost 15 years ago.

Personality: Extremely fun loving, energetic, and courageous. She takes life one step at a time but has fun with each passing moment. Because of her gentle nature, many assume that she's just this sprite that has taken on human form, but that's just absurd... no such things as faeries... right? In any case, Lily is bright and cheerful, but beneath her soft exterior lies a hidden strength and tremendous courage.

Bio: No one knows anything about her past: where she came from, who she is, or why she's always in a light mood. All the villagers know is that she loves to dance, and during the festivities she often finds herself surrounded by a good crowd as the applaud her. She herself doesn't know who/what she is, just that she has this enormous energy and she loves to perform.

Lily was lying down in a field of grass, her green eyes staring up at the light blue sky... a few clouds passing by. The sun was off behind her, she could keep her eyes open and stare off. She wondered what beyond the great sky... wondered what life was like somewhere else. She smiled as she sat up, glancing towards the town. Tonight was a night of festivities, and Lily looked forward to those nights. She sprang to her feet and was greeted by one of her closest childhood friends.

"Hi!" she said cheerfully, curtseying politely.

This is an open thread, and looking for a male role-playing partner. Please put some thought behind posts too, the more descriptive and coordinated the better.

Charlie Mallory Hatfield

"Hi little Lily," Charlie Hatfield said as he stumbled upon her in their old favorite look-out spot. Up here on this hill, you could see everything that was going on down there in town, but you were far enough away that no one could spot you (unless you were wearing something really bright).

The town square was hustling and bustling with activity. Tents going up, tables and chairs, beer kegs rolling in, vendors and farmers setting up their stalls, a stage for the magician and the band that would play all night.

Charlie Hatfield was 26 years old, and he had been Lily's first close friend. They were the same age, and as she was adopted on his birthday, they effectively shared birthday celebrations. When she had told him her name was Lily (after the other villagers bestowed the name upon her), Charlie went and found lilies for her to wear in her hair. Charlie is five feet and nine inches, not a tall or powerful man, but a good cook, and in touch with the earth. He can often be found gardening either around his house or in any number of the public gardens and along the paths, which he had taken to pruning and caring for. He has long curly brown hair that often hides his face, and he often lets his beard grow, though today he is clean-shaven for the festival. In addition to being the town gardener, he is also the apprentice medicine man/mystic. He had been chosen by the current old sage, and he was greatly honored to be.

"Hey little Lily," he said. "I could see your red outfit up here from the town square. How are you today?"

"Hey little Lily, I could see your red outfit up here from the town square. How are you today?" Charlie said as she came to her feet.

"I'm good. It's a nice day outside so I decided to come out here. I was just looking up at the clouds." she said, patting herself down. She glanced past him and saw all the people moving about.

"Only a short while and then we can start with the festivities." she said reminding him of something that she was sure he already knew. But she felt like saying it anyways. She held her hands behind her back as she stood in front of him. She noticed that he no longer had a beard on, something she teased him about.

"Magister Reginald says we'll have a spectacular gathering, fireworks and everything." she said smiling.

"So how are you doing today?" Lily asked him.

"I'm good. A bit tired. The old man has had me running all over this morning. I swear I've been back and forth across town a dozen times. You know how he is, always muttering but never really saying anything except 'get this' and 'burn that' and 'who said you could make it rain like this, Charlie?' It's always something. I think he wanted to brew up something really special for the festivities tonight, for those who are willing to look into the past and see the future with him."

He shook his head, chuckling to himself. "I'm not sure I'm quite ready for that. I think I'd really rather just watch you dance the night away. Will you save a slow one for me?"

Charlie smiled at his friend Lily. He loved the girl with all his heart, but had never been able to keep up with her. "We'll try to keep the rains away long enough for the band to play."

"Yes but he has a good heart, and I'm glad he's around. I'm not sure this town would last without someone like him." Lily added. Charlie shrugged his shoulders and let out a slight chuckle.

"I'm not sure I'm quite ready for that. I think I'd really rather just watch you dance the night away. Will you save a slow one for me?"

"Slow dance? I expect I can manage to slow down a bit." she said, a little bit of pink invading her cheeks.

"We'll try to keep the rains away long enough for the band to play."

"But doesn't the band have a canopy to play under in case it does rain?" Lily said. After a while she shrugged her shoulders and smiled again. "But I don't it is going to rain at all, the sky's look so peaceful." she added nodding up towards the clear blue sky.

"If you're tired maybe you should rest. It's no fun to be around someone if they haven't any energy." she added.

"Oh, I've plenty of energy," Charlie insisted. "I just need a cup of tea to get me properly excited about all the festivities tonight. C'mon, I'll brew us a pot," he said, smiling at her. "Race you to my place!" he said, and took off, knowing full well he'd need every moment's head start if he had any chance in hell of beating her. That girl was fast!

He ran down the hill. He didn't need to look over his should to know that she was already fast on his heels. If there was one thing he could always count on, it was Lily having more energy than their little town's entire football team. And she never let anyone win, but herself.

Charlie came to the bottom of the hill and was surprised that she hadn't already breezed past him. He rounded a corner and raced down the cobblestone road, his legs already insisting rather impatiently that he SLOW THE FUCK DOWN ALREADY!!!

And then he saw that flash of red breeze on by...

Lily looked on as Charlie took off. One minute she's staring up at the sky and the next she's talking to her friend and following that... well she didn't really care or think much of it. She brushed her pants off as she looked to see him flying down the hills. She hopped lightly on her barefeet before her smile turned into a grin. She literally tore up some grass as she bolted off, and she quickly caught up to her friend... and then just as quickly passed him by.

"Ow ow ow." she puttered as the tiny stones dug into her feet. She lightly danced onto a soft patch of grass and waited for Charlie. She saw him come around the corner and she was there waiting for him.

"Hello again. I believe you mentioned some tea." she added, holding her hands behind her back as she patiently awaited his arrival. She loved tea, and tried to drink it as much as she could.

He finally caught up to her, panting. He stopped, bent over, breathing hard, sweat pouring down his face. He looked up at her, standing there, all pristine and beautiful. How does she do it? he wondered. Charlie fumbled for his key and then opened the wooden front door to his small house. He had inherited the house from his grandparents just a few years ago, when they had both died. His grandmother died from the flu, and his grandfather of a broken heart, within a couple of days. He and Lily had been romping through this house for as long as either of them could remember. Charlie's grandmother used to make them tea every afternoon when they were little.

Charlie filled a kettle and put it on the stovetop. The heating element charged up and heated the water while Charlie put together the loose tea in a pot for them.

He let Lily smell the tea before he poured the boiling water on it. "The old man gave it to me the other day. He called it Lapsang Souchong and said it could bring anyone out of a funk."

Charlie came up not too long after she did, but he was more visibly tired from the quick race here. She reminded him about the tea when he arrived and he rolled his eyes before unlocking the house. The smell of the place hadn't changed one bit, either. She had come here more times than she could count, and the place belonged to him now. But she didn't dwell on the past, only on the present.

She sat down as he started up the stove, and Charlie went about getting their cups ready.

"What kind of tea are we having?" she asked him

"The old man gave it to me the other day. He called it Lapsang Souchong and said it could bring anyone out of a funk."

"A funk? Well I'm not in a funk but I'll certainly enjoy it." she added as he poured the hot water inside their cups, the aroma of the Lapsang filled the house. It was pretty strong, actually... but she drank it anyways.

Unbeknownst to Charlie, the tea he was sharing with Lily had a potent side-effect: it acted as a major aphrodisiac. The tea really woke Charlie up. He had been feeling pretty down, tired, unappreciated, but after a sip of the tea his mood brightened a bit, and after another gulp he was quite relaxed and he even started smiling.

His gaze fell upon his longtime friend, and he felt as though he was seeing her for the first time. He was suddenly noticing how womanly her form was; in his own mind, he was always a child, and so was she, even though they had passed the age of majority.

It wasn't the first time he saw how beautiful she was, but it was the first time in a long time that he began to think of long-buried desires...

His eyes twinkled; he smiled sweetly at Lily, not sure what to say, trying to calm the storm of emotions brewing in his soul.

"Uh, do you like this tea, Lily?" he asked. He thought it was nice, if a bit earthy and fragrant for his taste.

"Uh, do you like this tea, Lily?" he asked.

"I'm not sure," Lily said. After taking another sip she set her cup down. "It's very strong." she added. It didn't take long for her to finish, and she was up on her feet again.

"Well you look more lively, at least." she said smiling, noting Charlie's sudden energy. She walked around the kitchen, glancing out the window at the people in the streets.

"Come on, let's go do something before we have to prepare for the ceremonies." she said.

"Sure, there's plenty of time before the festivities get under way. Wow, this tea really woke me up." His eyes wandered over his friend's body as she looked out the window.

"It's such a hot day. I think I need a good swim in the lake. What do you say, Lily?"

"Swim?" she asked outloud, more to herself as she paddled around in the kitchen.

"I was thinking more along the lines of running around in the woods but I guess we can go for a swim. I was hoping to keep my hair dry till this evening." she added.

"Ok. We'll go for a swim" she said enthusiastically.

"Well," Charlie said, getting up, newfound energy roiling his blood, "we're gonna have to run through the woods to get to the lake, aren't we? Let's go!" and he took off for the door. What the hell, he thought, if ever there was a day to be a kid again, this is it!

He got to the door and opened it as Lily flew past him. He shut it behind them and took off after her!

Lily looked on at Charlie.

"we're gonna have to run through the woods to get to the lake, aren't we? Let's go!" he said and started for the door. She slid past him, smiling back as she darted off in the direction of the woods. She didn't go too far ahead, just enough so that he couldn't catch up easily. Her laughter filled the air as they acted like younger children. This is how life was... peaceful.

"Come on!" she said teasing him as she kept the lead.

He ran after her, following her into the woods. It was daytime, the sun was shining, still lots of daytime left for them to run around in. Damn she was fast. He wondered if she ever got tired. He ran after her, dodging past trees as they went further into the forest.

Lily darted quickly over some fallen branches, tossing aside random shrubs and tree-limbs as she made her way deep into the forest. The sounds of the forest filled the air, and the sun's rays filled up a good portion of the woods. She glanced to see Charlie moving in as well, and she smiled. She ducked under a low-lying treebranch, and then hopped onto a second one and waited for him to catch up.

"Hi." she said smiling brightly as she took off again, and she finally stopped at the waters edge.

He loved watching her run. She moved so gracefully through her space, you'd think she'd run this route a hundred times before.

Oh right, she had. And so had he. He bounced along, leaping over low branches and bounding off thick treestumps and then down the big long hill, that wide open path through the trees down to the lake, and he came to a stop next to her. "How long have you been waiting?" he asked, panting. She looked elegant, as ever.

"How long? I don't know, I hadn't counted. But you caught up quicker than last time." she said smiling. The water looked warm and inviting, and she smiled knowing that Charlie had come up with a good idea. She smiled as she moved to sit on a flat rock near the edge of the water, the small waves gently lapping at its sides but never reached the top.

"Well we're here." she said and looked at Charlie who seemed more composed.

"I'll go slower next time." she added.

"Lily, I don't ever want you to slow down. You go at whatever speed suits you best." Charlie said, smiling at her as he sat down on the rock next to her. He knew she wouldn't be sitting for long, though. He grabbed a pebble and skipped it across the clear, cool water.

Lily smiled. She did love to run, to walk, play, just about everything. She didn't have a care in the world, and it showed in her attitude.

"Ok, I won't slow down." she said, perking up. Charlie came and sat down next to her, and his hands ran over the large rock they were sitting on, and he picked up a small skipping stone, then tossed it across the water.

"Hey, not bad." she said, picking her own up and skipping it, only going about half as far as Charlie's before sinking.

"Aww, not very good at that." she said but picked another up and skipped that one, getting closer to Charlies first toss.

"That was close." she said brightly. She turned to look at Charlie as he sat next to her.

"I thought you wanted to go for a swim?" she asked him, her head tilting the side a little.
