I have to confess. I've never been involved in an incestous act ever, but when I was a little younger I used to watch my older sister when she was in the shower, or taking a bath or when she was changing her clothes. It drove me crazy and I loved to watch her. I know that is probably wrong but I did it and it really gets me excited thinking about it. Is that really bad?? Has anyone else ever been that somewhat of a "Voyuer of the Fam"??

Hmmm...

I've never been a "voyeur" of anyone in my family. There are quite a few very handsome men in my family, and I'm not afraid to acknowledge that fact. I told my brother the other day that he was turning out to be a really gorgeous hunk of a man. Boy, does that guy turn some heads! :) He simply smiled, thanked me, and told me I was a beautiful woman. Then he put me in a headlock, lol.

For me, it's a matter of mutual respect, not wanting to get into each other's pants.

I think it's normal to get excited about seeing a woman's body, even if that woman is your sister. I mean, she's a WOMAN. She has those lovely qualities that the fairer sex has, and that is appealing to the eye. Admiring her body seems to me quite a natural thing. I wouldn't feel guilty about that.

If it goes beyond admiration and appreciation, then I think you are getting into an issue of personal morals. And that's probably a whole other thread. :)

Thanks sheath,

Its never been more then just watching. The actual act has entered my mind (being completely honest) but its something I'll never follow through with.

I don't know if there's anything wrong with watching & thinking about it, but it's nice to see that you at least draw the line somewhere and value the relationship you have with your family over your carnal instincts.

I think that's one of the things that separates us from the animals is that we can actually place a moral value on some of our acts.

Then I honestly don't think there is anything to think twice about. It's skin. On a pretty girl. No matter what scenario, that often seems to be enough to trigger the little monkey brain inside of each and every one of us.

Thankfully most of us have more brains than that. The others end up in the deep end of the pool.

Heh, looking back at mine and Lust Engine'spost, it seems they were almost cloned. :)

What can I say? Great minds think alike!

Ditto

that line you draw, is a good one. Who can say if what you think is good or ba,d but don't dwell too much on it, that kind of behaviour is what I have hear tends to promote, umm, bad behaviours. The dwelling can lead to rationalizing, which can lead to acceptance of things that are not considered ok. Just be aware, and beware.

My favorite stories on Lit. are the Incest Stories. While visiting my oldest sister once, I told my mother that, if she wasn't my sister, I'd want to have sex with her...or words to that effect. Mom was like 'Well, she is your sister, so you shouldn't be thinking like that.' Because she IS my sister, I wouldn't even do the 'shower voyeur/getting dressed voyeur' thing...so there you have it. Nobody asked me, but my $.02.

I didn't have the benefit of growing up in a family with any girls in it except for my mother. I had two brothers, or bruthas as we say in NYC.

However, living in NYC, its hard NOT to be a voyeur at times. My family lived in an attached home and I shared a wall in my bedroom with a very noisey couple's bedroom. When I moved into my own apartment, my bedroom window overlooked several windows of couples that were neither inclined or knew that they were putting on a show for all to see.

There are good genetic reasons why close relatives, such as brother and sister should not have sex. It has less to do with morals and more to do with the fact that brother and sister unions stand a very high chance of bringing a defective child into the world.

In Europe, where nudity is more commonplace I doubt this would have been even an issue for you. But growing up here in christian ethos america, you're undoubtedly feeling both turned on, and guilty at the same time. Personally I think this would be a prime case of "Look, but don't touch".

Forgetting the moralistic backlashing you're giving yourself over this, I'd say, enjoy the accidental view that you might get occasionally, don't actively seek to spy on her, and let her have her own life unencumbered by the problems that an incestious relationship can bring down on you.

If you find yourself in a position where she's the one seeking you out, you might want to have a serious talk with her without the parentals knowing
about it.

Just my 2 cents.

ps. I'll just add that my voyeur days are long over as I now live in Northern Idaho, where the distance between neighbors is measured in miles instead of feet.

I'm not supporting incest here or making any moral statement but
I must say that use of the phrase 'very high chance' is extrememely misleading. Proportionately higher perhaps, a greater chance if both carry defective genes probably. But until you get generations of incestuous offspring the likelyhood isn't that great.
