Your score is for interjecting politics into an erotic forum.

Laughable really. What are scores?

And no, not yet. But I'll certainly check again. I do that deed as often as anyone. What a drag.

Nope.

I suspect what they're pissed abut though is that you bought up the wrong form of politics. Had it been politics the commenter agreed with they wouldn't have done this.

I have. My stories are usually about the choices we make, and the consequences of those. I had a story in LW about a woman being tempted to experiment, which caused severe consequences for her marriage. Not trying to say anything in particular, just what I thought could happen under the right circumstances. One of the comments chastised me for "moralizing" in a place that was supposed to be about sex. *shrug*

I dunno... does this count?

Leave my culture alone!

As a Nordic person (first mistake since Nordic and Scandinavian are different classifications and the Edda and Hávamál are definitly Nordic, and to be even more specific, Icelandic) I resent you using my cultural heritage to make a shallow, vague, and what´s worse, verbose point without any depth of thought or cultural sensitivity.
Talk about things you understand. Bubblegum, Hershey bars and milkshakes.

i know nothing about Bubblegum, Hershey bars and milkshakes; I do know the piece he/she is complaining about has been published in three languages. I rest my case. ;)

At least that had SOMETHING to do with the story -- I assume.

No. I haven't gotten that particular statement, but I have received some similarly vague and pissy comments.

On one of my two new poems, I just got a comment advising me to drink less-- I think.

On my two poems I was advised to drink more.... so I guess it all evens out in the end...

A very perceptive reader has recently detected the obvious fascist message that I had cleverly included in one of my poems.

Fascist....It may take me awhile to figure out that one and how to apply it to you.

That was a fun Same Title Challenge.

I miss those sometimes.

That is hysterically funny! :rose:
I had it coming. Using the words "fire", "blood" and "mud"?

I'm just surprised he didn't understand the encoded plan with the exact location where my troops will be deployed for the world-domination stage. I used the words "drop", "airborne" and "death"! What the hell else do I need to do? Spell it out?

Keep it up and I'll strike you off my totalitarianist advisory board.

Not to mention "honeybees"!

My advice is always foolish (seys the token anachist on the board)

ETA: Not sure if I was trying to type anarchist or antichrist....

Yeah, I've gotten bad input for including politics and/or religion, but much of my work is supposed to have political themes. For instance, how can you do sci-fi smut without some politics. Or a story where a Republican is dating a Democrat, and both are in Congress?

Unintended pun of the week.

Oh, yes, sexual congress. I get it. By the way, I meant to ask how you're doing. Feeling better? :rose:

You have the advantage of me kind sir. Better than what?

I didn't think the story itself was political -- well maybe I did take a little swipe at Dubyah at the beginning. But who can resist?
