I am wondering what "toy" leaves the best welts. So far as I can tell my skin is very resilent. Any redness or marks left by Hand, belt and other "around the house" toys are gone in a very short time. I would like to have a reminder of our time...something physical. Any suggestions?

Maybe till the next day...a few hours at least...even the harshest spanking leaves only a fading pink after an hour...

Kitte - I'm not sure what kind of marks or reminders you are looking for exactly, but there are lots of "toys" that will accomplish marks. Care would need to be a key issue to keep from real and permanant harm. Safety is a big key here.

With that in mind single tails, floggers, canes, and many others. I don't have alot of experience with things that leave marks, however.

Hmmm,...maybe your tolerance for pain is very low,...and what you consider a HARSH spanking,...is in reality a very mild PINKING of your ass,(Just food for thought).

Most ANY belt, flogger, paddle etc. can easily leave a mark for a week or more.(In my experience)
I am not SUGGESTING you do this,...but a thinner,
narrower device will leave a mark on your ass much easier than a wide one.

A small single tail whip, a thin springy cane, or a narrow plastic or leather belt would concentrate the force behind the blow into a more restricted area and produce what you seek.

Be careful,...and talk to your Dom about this,...if he has any experience behind him,...he will KNOW, how to give you what you want.

You might also want to take some asprin in the morning at the regular dosage and then again at the appropriate time later. This will thin your blood and increase your liklihood of bruising/marking.
(Of course, if you have an allergy or stomach ulcers-it would probably be a bad idea.)

Actually my ass is the same way... what you see in the av was gone inside of an hour....

It doesn't matter what Himself uses and if he hits any harder then I bruise.

I think it must be one of those things you have to live with.

Kitte, my Dom used a cane on my thighs one time, that left the telltale 2 parallel lines, that stayed for almost a month...... left marks, but no pain (atleast in my case)

Artful~actually we are finding that my tolerance for pain is quite high and immediatly following play I look like I have marks that should last a good long time....but they dont. My Dom, is rather in training as am I but I was looking at some crops today and they seemed to look as though they would leave a bit more of a souvinere then our currant home made toys.

Cellis~ I am starting to think that may just be the case, but I am hoping as our time together and experience with different toys grows, I will find something that will leave a longer lasting trace of our time, I am sure he will appreciate admiring his work as much as I appreciate it being his canvas.

Sierra~ I will also look into Canes. I have never even really seen one. My what an intersesting journey this is turning out to be.

Well, i don't mark well either. It is hard for my Dom to get my bottom very pink with his hand. We have this buggy whip thing that leaves welts, but they don't last. And, floggers, belts, crops, etc. do buise a little with enough force and will last several days. But, the only thing i've had last a week and some times more are caning bruises. They do it everytime, so if you want something that will keep you looking in the mirror for awhile, i would go with the cane. i think single tails cause pretty bad buising too, but i've never tried one.

My quirt {which is the same as dusty's, we got them from the same person} left a mark on a friend of mine for 2 weeks now.

Try a tawse. Here it is on it's side. The handle is wood and the rest a thick gauge double strap leather that is also split down the middle.

I think traditionally they don't have wooden handles. But of all my toys that I've tried on myself, this is the nastiest.
