I’ll put my pictures here.
So many questions generated by your opening post, but they were all scrambled at the sight of your first photo. I'm a tad envious with how easy photos are for you..(or at least seem to be easy for you.) Always interesting, always unique. And the man fur... *swoon*
fuck.
50 =sexy ....glad you have your freedom, I hope to see more soon!
I have a pile of pictures I’ve been storing.
Thank you for sharing. A great start to Friday![]()
People always talk about simpler times. Whenever that was. It’s so subjective.
I’m sure most have some time they view as “simpler” and want to go back to that place. Even if only for a moment.
I’ll guess it’s before the responsibilities piled up.
I always hear the 70s were simpler. Not prosperous.
The 80s were not simple. How much time did those guys spend on their hair?
Fucking mullets. Feathered hair. Hairspray. Teasing.
Makeup and spandex.
For me the 90s were simpler. Before my jobs followed me home.
I worked a night shift and she would have lunch ready for me. A kiss became longer and the next thing you know her elbows are on the counter, she’s on the tips of her toes, and cum is running down her thighs as I pull up my pants and rush out the door so I’m not late.
Simple.
People were upset the president received a blowjob in the White House. We are all pretending Taft and Harrison didn’t use their positions of power to get head at work.
Hell, I got a blowjob in the 90s. Simple times.
Bob Dole ran for President on a platform of returning to the simpler times of the 50s. Those tears must’ve been his simpler times.
June always wore a dress. There’s no guarantee she wore panties. Why would she?
While the 50s would not be an era in which I would want to live, Ward always seemed so relaxed. I write the story in my head that June simply said “leave it to beaver” and then slid herself down onto Ward while he was in his easy chair.
I can just about guarantee most people would consider six years ago simpler times. This isn’t a political statement. It’s societal. But, as Skunk Anansie said, everything’s political.
Here’s what I know.
We all long for a simpler time. Even if only occasionally.
But when was “simpler” is subjective and all about perspective.
Perspective and time make all the difference in how rose tinted our glasses become.
Interesting and thought provoking thread. Post #12 photo very good. Not that I'm a photo critic or expert. I'm rapidly closing in on my seventh decade. A wise man once said, "Easy is not better." This far dumber person says let the past be pleasant memories and not the rope we use to hang ourselves.
Then you get a rose colored picture
As becoming as such a rose tinted view can be, it's only a snigbit of a more grand story that's made all the better by the play of light and shadows.
The dogs launched into fits of barking this morning around 12:30. Two hours before my alarm. There was another dog barking somewhere in the neighborhood. There was no going back to sleep.
Today is supposed to be a good rain. We need it. Everybody’s lawn is brown except that one neighbor who’s lawn is always green. There’s always that one neighbor.
The change in weather, the upcoming equinox, and the lack of sleep made chili sounds very good.
So I got up. Filled the crockpot. Sautéed the onions.
It’s all simmering while I work.
Something to look forward to.
I was just saying to a friend a few minutes ago that chili sounds perfect today. Looks delicious![]()
