Domestication or Not

I am sure you will find the femme, cute, nice submissive sewer and cooker of your dreams.

I suspect she means someone who sews, rather than someone who is filthier than a gutter. :D

Now, submissive women do tend to have and do more feminine things then a non submissive woman.

Gawd, I guess I didn't get this memo. :D

I hate cooking, though I can do it.

I can't sew to save my life, and in fact once gave myself a black eye with my mom's sewing machine while trying to learn. (Don't ask.)

I can, however, build barbed wire fence, and just about any other kind of fence... use a band saw, a table saw, a router... I trim horse hooves and move hay bales, and baby, nobody can unclog a drain like me. ;)

I also own probably a grand total of five dresses... but my jeans and slightly horse drool and dog pawprint marked t-shirt collection is prodigious. *laughs*

Feminine is as feminine does.

If you're an adult you ought to be able to feed yourself whether you particularly like to cook or not. Refusing to clean a toilet, take out the trash or change a lightbulb because it is not suited to your idea of your gender role just means you're a slob sitting in the dark. ;->

I enjoy cooking and building furniture. I hate doing laundry and washing dishes although I am picky about how the dishes get done so I generally do them myself even if I have offers of help. (hint: whenever possible get the OCD afflicted person to do the dishes) I sweep and vacuum because I have to, but I have often been tempted to just shave my dog instead so I don't have to clean the floors so often. I'd rather paint murals on the bedroom walls and stencil the furniture than clean the bathroom, but who wouldn't?

I can sew well enough to mend my clothes or hem pants and skirts so long as they're not cut on the bias. I can use a sewing machine or overlock but I can only thread the former. I cannot knit, tat or crochet. I love the idea of being able to really sew but I've never had the patience to learn how.

As a rule I enjoy creative tasks but occasionally I'll get a bee in my bonnet about general cleaning. I refuse to own clothing that must be ironed and even though I can change the oil in my car I prefer to have Jiffy Lube do it. They're faster and they take care of the waste oil.

The only thing that has been a stumbling block for me recently is the lifting of enormously heavy objects. So I had my brother come help. He brought me a piece of apple pie that he'd baked.

We were raised by a single mom so we did the latch-key kid thing a bit. We learned to cook and household chores were shared by all. When we were with our dad we generally helped him in whatever capacity we could on his construction sites - he's a restoration carpenter. So my brother and I both can fix a toilet, build a bookcase, run a load of laundry without turning things pink or shrinking them to munchkin size and then make a tasty meal augmented by food we grew in the garden plot out back.

It just ocurred to me that my brother is both the Top and the domestic in his house. My sister in law is smart, talented and creative but not particularly practical. Her priority is not on maintaining the household primarily due to her upbringing. She will cook and do laundry but it's my brother for whom these things are more important. There's no question whatsoever of who is the sexual Top in their relationship, though.

now I'm mildly pissed that neither sunfox nor bb are available lesbian lifestyle femsubs looking for a family in the middle of the frozen cold. :)

How 'bout a position as an apprentice? As an added bonus I have a huge box of really cool beads that I haven't yet fashioned into anything.

What attracts you to the opposite sex that would not normally be their role?

The ability to pee standing up.

Seriously, I'm not really much of a believer in genderised roles or what a "normal" role for any sex is. But the ability to pee standing up is certainly fascinating in women. :D

Well, I don't want you splashing my shoes...

1. i had to plunge a clogged toilet two days ago.
2. The day after that, had to figure out how to add more windshield wiper fluid to my vehicle.
3. Last night, i struggled with wondering why while driving back from work, it SEEMED as if my headlights were out, when they were obviously turned on. Master inspected the lights and found they were covered with a very thick coating of road salt. ....silly me.
