Well at first I thought they were cool to have, in new york if u buy tokens from the machine that's how u get them so I have quite a few but to tell you the truth they are so annoying to carry around I prefer paper.

Would you like some? I have lots, the customers in the restaurant I work think they are cool to leave for tips. Get about 50-60 of those things in my pocket and I won't have to worry about blowing away in a wind storm...

Don't complain - we don't even have dollar bills anymore - all we have are those bloody loonies - get a few of those in your wallet and you think you're carrying rocks around.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA: Now you know what us canadians feel like for the last 4-5-10 years carring 1$ and 2$ coins pluss all the obligatory change, and the government is trying to get a 5 dollar coin in circulation.

So? They have the same thing in Germany, yet you don't hear them complaining! DM1, 2, and 5 coins, plus 1,2,5,10,20, and 50 pfennig coins. Now that's a lot. Add to that carrying two sets of currencies with all the attending change. Makes me tired just thinking about it. LOL

I got some myself today from the Post Office vending machine. I thought it was cool. I don't understand why the mint issues these coins, but doesn't put enough of them in circulation for people to actually use them.
