Former President Donald Trump is “shattering” fundraising records following the FBI’s raid of his Mar-a-Lago home, his son Eric Trump announced on Tuesday evening.

“Breaking: DonaldJTrump.com is shattering all fundraising records and I’m told has raised more money in the past 24 hours than ever before in recent history!” Eric Trump revealed on TruthSocial and Twitter, suggesting that the raid has riled up the conservative base.

The report of massive fundraising numbers follows the FBI’s unprecedented raid of Mar-a-Lago, which Trump described as “prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024”:

Wednesday, during an appearance on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home was a sign of desperation by a “national machine.”

"People like Max Boot are, in fact, the representatives of a dying system,” he added. “And as it starts to die, it grows more desperate. And what you saw last night at Mar-a-Lago was the desperation of a national machine that knows it’s on the edge of being defeated and then being eliminated. And I think that you’ll see more desperation in the weeks to come.”

According to his son Eric, Donald Trump just shattered all fundraising records in the 24-hour period after the raid.
 
Senior U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) officials are blaming FBI Director Christopher Wray for the recent raid of former President Donald Trump’s home in an apparent attempt to take pressure off U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Another senior DOJ official told Newsweek that the Mar-a-Lago raid was a “spectacular backfire” because the FBI reportedly planned the raid while Trump was not in Florida in an effort to avoid any media circus.

With Republicans rallying around the former president after news of the raid broke, it appears the FBI got the exact opposite of what they wanted.

The FBI raid on former President Donald Trump took place just days after historians met with President Joe Biden last week, reportedly warning him of a looming civil war.

On August 4, several historians met with Biden at the White House warning him that America was facing divisions similar to that of the years before the Civil War before the 1860 election, according to The Washington Post.

The group of historians included historian Jon Meacham, journalist Anne Applebaum, Princeton professor Sean Wilentz, University of Virginia historian Allida Black and presidential historian Michael Beschloss, according to the reports.

Most Americans say the FBI’s raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home has motivated them to vote in the midterm election, a Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey released Wednesday found.

“Does the FBI raid on President Trump increase your motivation to vote in the 2022 election?” the survey asked.

The overwhelming majority, 70.4 percent, said the FBI’s raid of Trump’s residence will increase their motivation to vote in the 2022 election, compared to 21.6 percent who said it will not. Another 8.1 percent remain unsure.

Over half of Democrats, 55.2 percent, said it will increase their motivation to vote, but an even greater number of Republicans, 83.3 percent, said it will motivate them to head the polls in November. Seven in ten independents, 71.7 percent, of said it will motivate them to vote in November as well.

Attorney General Merrick Garland once enjoyed bipartisan sympathy as the victim of circumstances: he was a well-regarded appellate judge whose Supreme Court nomination in 2016 failed to advance because of partisan politics in an election year.

Today he seems to be a vindictive bully who is using the Department of Justice (DOJ) to pursue an extreme left-wing political agenda, whether from ideological conviction or as a form of personal revenge for the way he was sidelined by Republicans.

On Monday, the DOJ and the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, ostensibly looking for documents protected by federal records laws. Trump’s attorneys had already been working with the National Archives to handle the return of the historic materials, which included a “cocktail napkin” and a “birthday dinner menu,” according to the Washington Post.

The provocative raid, so soon before an election, provoked outrage and suspicions of political motivations.

I believe that the Left did this out of desperation. The J6 committee was an abject failure and the Deep State needed to do something/anything to try yet again to get rid of Trump.

Unfortunately, they did their usual and fucked it up. I wonder how it's going to play out that the docs were still at Mar a Lago "at the request of the archives" since they're the ones who required Trump to put the archives into a room and padlock the door. Hard to argue that the docs are there because of Trump when it was the archives who stored them there under lock and key. Not that the Left intends to let logic get in the way of a good Trump bashing.

Which isn't helping the Left either. All the changing stories and leaks that surround this clusterfuck only show how desperate the Deep State is. First it was "stolen" documents. Then it was Garland had nothing to do with the raid. Then it turned out Garland PERSONALLY APPROVED the raid. Then it's Garland saying that they apply the law equally even though everyone can see that Hillary and Hunter are still walking around without any fear of being raided or arrested. And now it's Garland daring Trump to release the contents of a sealed search warrant as if the subject of the warrant has ANY AUTHORITY to do so. the government requested that the affidavit and warrant be sealed. Trump wasn't part of that so why is he being required to "give his permission" to unseal it?

We know why.

45 wouldn't give back all the documents he stole and the DOJ went and got them. Nothing more to the story. (Outside of how 45 has reacted to the warrant, of course- and the DoJ has already called his bullshit on that)
