A member of my family has a registered Poodle named, HeidiHoNeighbor. Heidi for short.

Well, when I was in junior high, my aunt n uncle moved here from texas, and couldn't keep thier two pets.

They had an irish setter named Lady Diana. Lady D for short. And, they had a tame pet rabbit that ran loose named Charles. They were best friends. They snuggled together to sleep in Lady D's coup at night. Ate from dishes next to each other. Charles died before winter, but we had Lady for a while. She got knocked up by the neighboors beagle, and had puppies. We kept one, and named him Ralph Dale. Ralph for short. That was the summer between 8th and 9th grade. Lady D died not to long after, just of age, we think. She was just dead one morning. Ralph my parents still have. He is getting rather old now.

My grandparents had a small dog named Peanut (really small, and long, and the color of a peanut) and another one that was small, and very hairy and white, named snowball.

When i was a kid we had a series of dogs...
... a cocker spaniel named Freckles (for obvious reasons)
... a didn't-quite-make-it almost-police dog, a german shepard named Chief (again, going for the obvious, but he came to us named so what could we do?)
... and a Great Dane named Zip (i don't know why) who thought she was a lap dog through her entire life.

I have a black standard poodle (yes, those are the very big poodles, the noble and dignified dogs, the ones that do not yap at you when you walk past thier cars in the grocery store parking lot), a registered dog, named Chloe (AKC name Chloe's Heart-To-Heart, and i don't know why, either.. she came to us already named).

Our cat is Angel.
The fish don't have names. Makes it easier to flush them down the toilet when thier time is up.

I only had two dogs as a kid.

Had a mutt named Pirate, was white except for a black patch around one eye.

Had a collie that I of course wanted to name Lassie but since it was a male settled for Laddie.

Not going to tell you cause you won't talk to us guys who answered your motorcycle thread :p

A Chow chow named Shonga Shang T-Sing (Lastname)
He was registered and looked like a lion, his middle names were taken from his grandparents.

A Scotty terrier named Petey (Hated that damn dog)

My dad had a half chow half lab named Bo (Named after Hank Williams real name) Unfortunately my dad beheaded him in a fit of anger when he bit my sister.

I have had many cats:

Scampers (because he use to scamper about the floor when he was a kitten)

Julius (He was a pink kitten but got sick and went off to die)

Mr. Cat (A cat my cousin left next door when they moved)

Fat Cat( A huge ass cat that was dropped off at my dad's place when I was younger)

KittyDog ( a cat that barked like a dog and thought he was a dog because he was raised with Shonga and Petey)

And now my baby Salem (Solid black cat with antique gold eyes)

I like cats better.
