Dog poo!

Well there is your problem with regard to volume.

Your solution to that problem seems like it should work.
The difference in volume, when altering foods, is negligible. Their diet is geared towards what works best for their health, and I wouldn't dream of cutting out their fresh vegetable content just to save on a couple of grams worth of scooping.
Two large dogs here. The lawn (rather large) gets mowed every 5 days. It just gets mulched into the grass. It's not noticed, so I guess it is not a problem.

My former dog, the properties had woods in the backyard. She was trained to go in the woods. She was quite adamant about going there and she never did her business on the lawn. She was also trained to be off leash.

There are companies that come and pick up the poop. Not sure what they do with it.
backing onto the woods sounds ideal! If I lived remote enough, leaving it wouldn't bother me. But here, i wouldn't dream of not picking up after them when we're out and about. Even in the woods, I wouldn't want someone having the misfortune of stepping in my dogs mess.

I don't like lawns, so I'm thinking about giving them a little plot to one side, filled with chippings from the local tree surgeon. That way, it'll lift easily even in wet weather, and any chippings stuck to it will just help with the composting.

I have noticed in my travels usually on a Saturday or Sunday morning did the pricier he zip code, the larger the dog.

I figured wealthier people can afford more dog food, pricier vet pills and a bigger yard for the beast.

My neighborhood, it's always pitbulls for security or Chihuahuas as pets. One each on my lot. The two families involved seem to be of the impression that poop is magical and it just disappears. They don't seem to notice that I'm cleaning it up. The pitbull appreciate it though and shows his appreciation my making sure that he poops primarily just off my front doorstep to make it convenient for me.

Nobody would think of leaving a pile or really even putting one temporarily on my front lawn.
The JRT in the front window lets them know right away that its not a good idea:D:D:D

I'm in a labrador retriever and golden retriever neighborhood

Wtf? Why would anyone think that's ok?

In my village, it's common to see people carrying a little bag of poop back from their walk, and there are several poop bins around the place, with little pooping dogs pictured on the lid. I've yet to come across a turd left on a pavement or verge. It's considered basic manners to clean up! And there's fines for people who don't comply.

They don't walk him or anything, he's an indoor dog and when he wants out, the let him out, unsupervised. He's a little feral, but he's quite smart. I've never seen them put any effort into training in at all but he never leaves the yard even though there is no gate and he's free to roam. He just isn't interested. He never joins in or displays any interest in any of the other neighbors dogs. One of the neighbors right across the street has a dog that will bark any hour of the day or night especially at night.. incessently, and is never corrected. That dog and I sleep days, so not my problem.

One of the neighbors and his father (our landlord) are landscapers and the cobbler has no shoes. We have no landscaping to speak of, just gravel and dirt. I prune the mesquite trees and toss the branches in the landscape trailer as needed. I'm slowly getting nice shape and shade out of those trees which mostly benefit where I park my two cars and my little cottage. One is a stoner so sort of blissed out. The other is a hardworking father of three small kids and just getting by. He's too busy to notice. He'll tackle the whole yard sometimes when the weeds and blown in debris gets bad and probably doesn't notice the small amount of poo. Not his pitbull, either. I haven't seen much production out of his Chihuahua yet, it's still a puppy, I think. How do you tell?

This time of year, it's not as gross as it sounds. At low humidity and 110° shit is a crusty artifact in an hour or two.

If you want to help the environment...suck it up...they're your dogs

Stfu, thanks.

I already posted links to the styles I was considering, which took up considerably less time and effort once in place. Thor's suggestion was a joke. On the other hand...

If you PM me your home address, I have another thought on what to do with the shit.

How ghetto of your neighborhood. You should just hook the trailer up and move to a different ghetto.
